On top of this, there are the historic ties. Moscow has since the 19th century acted as the protector of Serbia, with which Montenegro formed a single country until 2006.
Thanks to Russian investments in the tourism industry, the crisis did not hit Montenegro as hard as the rest of the region. Numerous luxurious apartment buildings providing accommodation to the management of Gazprom and other energy giants have mushroomed around Budva in the past five years.

Greket dhe serbet, sidomos serbet kane lidhje tjera tradicionale me ruset.
Shqipetaret ne pergjithesi jane dhe do te mbeten armiq te ruseve.
Eksperimentet e deshtuara ideologjike, politike etj. te se kaluares dhe interesat individuale te biznismeneve dhe politikaneve te caktuar nuk ndryshojne asgje.
Pavaresisht kesaj, per investime te mira dhe serioze nuk ka rendesi te madhe nacionaliteti i investitorit.
Po me mire te jet dora e sherbimit sekret rus sesa dora e sherbimit sekret serb sic esht sali kafsha, qe e rrenoi kete vend si ne 97 edhe tani ekonomikisht dhe me shitjen e gjith pasurive shqiptare.
Kte nuk dalloni ju pd-istat de zgjidhni me te mirin midis te keqinjve, se asnje politikan nuk esht engjell.

Natyrishte qe shqiptaret pas luftes se Kosoves kane nje fare qendrimi anti rus thjeshte nje kenveshtrim politik, por jo ndjesi anti ruse.Ruset nuk vine ketu sepse shqiptaret jane nje popull i veshtire per te krijuar mardhenie.Ne i kemi tradhetuar njehere ne 60-ten dhe nuk jane te paret qe ne kemi tradhetuar.Nese nuk behen investime ne Shqiperi , pikerishte eshte mosbesimi.
