Have any of you ever heard or about the Reverend Jim Jones and the horror of the mass suicide at Jonestown, Guyana ?
Americans like to think of ourselves as the most independent freedom loving people in the history of the human species. We highly value individuals that think for themselves and go their own way. Yet the story of Jim Jones and Jonestown is the unprecedented tale of mass numbers of American citizens brainwashed, indoctrinated and manipulated to kill. The day came when they murdered outsiders, a Congressman and journalists. Following the orders of Jim Jones they committed mas suicide including poisoning their own small children and babies.

Under the right conditions any person can be swept up in a cult that can brainwash that individual to commit any act of violence. Uka was a victim of this kind of cult. They brainwashed and indoctrinated this man without a country to kill those American soldiers. Growing up in Germany he probably he was influenced by non Albanian Muslims If he had grown up in Kosova or Albania I don't think he would have been attracted to the Jihadists. Growing up in his homeland he would have followed the tradition and culture of his people to never turned his back on an enemy or a friend. The moment he took those two lives he turned his back on his friends and he turned his back on his fellow Albanians
I understand this man was a victim pf a cult and he didn't truly know what he was doing but still I wish I could grab this man be the beard and drag him int
o the homes of the families of those dead Air Force men. Let him see and hear the cries of tier mothers, fathers, wives and children. Let him explain to those mourning families how killing those American soldiers pleased God and found justice for those girls assaulted in Afghanistan.
