Dear Analyst,
I have a dream which I have never had before in my life. I have had dreams but this dream is different from all the others and that's why I wanted to know what the dream is about.
I go to bed as usual and then the dream begins a hour or so into my sleep.
I begin the dream walking along a path. The path is very wide and the sky is always as clear as the big blue ocean. On the left side of the path there are tulip flowers with long green leaves, there are tuberous flowers red as the fire and gladiolus flowers yellow like the sun.
The left side looks miraculous as there are flowers and colours which I have never seen before in my life. When I look on the right side of the path however it is different, the flowers are different, the earth is under water and the colour of the flowers are deadly black and white and nothing else. The only flower I see is the Hollyhock flower which I have never seen before in black or white and the roots of the flowers are out and I can see them. Behind the Hollyhock flowers is fire and it is capacious, I can not see what is behind the fire. In the middle of the path there are little stones which are red and blue.
As I carry walking along the path I see a key but it isn’t a normal key, it is made out of gold and it has little diamond stones which I could not see when I initially picked up the key because the diamonds were covered in dust. I rub the key clean with my shirt and then the diamonds started to change colour because the sun was shining on them, the little diamond stones changed into red, yellow and blue. I put the key in my pocket and walk on.
Walking further on the path I can see a pond, the pond is very big and full with white Tuberous water lilies and Bloodroots which are dark green and voluminous. There is a old boat which has water in and is covered in dust and black adourous mud. I use the boat to get over the pond.
I get past the pond and then I come across a tree, but it isn’t a tree which I would expect to see in a forest, the tree is immensely tall and breathtakingly wonderful. At the top of the tree the leaves are green and at the bottom of the tree the leaves are autumnal yellow. The roots of the tree are protruding from the soil and they were large, and covered in black leaves.
When I walk on past it I see a bend in the path and I can not see anything, I am anxious to see what is around the bend so I faoton my approach. Behind the bend in the path I see an old man who looks at me but I don’t look, something makes me feel afraid. From side long glances I can see the old man is much taller then me and is wearing old torn clothes. Thankfully he makes no movement towards me nor offers anything in the way of conversation.
I walk away from the old man and almost immediately I see an old cottage which has one solitary little window which is made out of metal. My curiousity makes me look in the window, there is a big shelf of books and the surrounding walls are white like snow, contrasting with the brown wooden floor. There is a table in the centre of the room made out of glass and it has four chairs positioned around it but one of them is broken. At each corner of the cottage there are big flower pots but there are no flowers in them, just brown soil.
I leave the cottage and walk on and then I see a small metal gate with a black bird perched on top. When I go beside the gate the bird flew away. I climb over the gate and continue my journey.
After walking for some while I come across a garden but it isn’t an ordinary garden. The garden is incomprehensible, it has flowers like Iceland poppies which were red like blood, shrubby cinquefolls which are yellow . In the middle of the garden there is a small fountain, it is marvellous, it has a light blue rose which I had never seen before. The path of the garden is different to the one I have been walking on it doesn't have stones but it has water.
When I look up at the sky I can’t see the endless blue sky because it is covered by Royal palms which are green.
I walked through the garden feeling tranquil and safe and then I saw a big wall made out of glass which is blocking my way. The wall appears to be everlasting .I manage to look through the wall, on the other side there is another path and on the left side of the path there are flowers, people being happy and children playing with wild animals. The right side of the path however looks the opposite, people were working in the middle of the fire. All the plants on the right side of the path are dead, people are getting beaten and women were shouting and crying. The shocking right side of the path reminds me of biblical readings of hell and this is when my dream finishes. When I wake up I feel like I am in a different world. Some parts of the dream are just astonishing and unbelievable and the dream always finishes in the same place. After the dream finishes I get up and I start getting headaches.
I don’t know what this dream is about, it might be about anything I have got no idea it does not make any sense to me at all.
I wanted to know what this dream is about and what does it mean?
I also wanted to know why do I get this dream.
