Eshte nje tragjedi e vertet ajo qe ndodhi sot ne Villa Park, IL afer Chicago ku Artur Shehu, 33 vjec, nga Tirana, vrau nenen dhe babane e tij, Syrja Shehu, 66 vjec dhe Safo Shehu, 67 vjece. Vrasja ka ndodhur sot heret ne mengjes, dhe policia ka gjetur 2 trupat rreth ores 3:30 te mengjesit mbasi nje burre 33 vjec ka lajmeruar policine per kete krim. Ky mendohet te kete qene Artur Shehu (edhe pse nuk eshte akuzuar akoma direkt per kete vrasje nga policia) i cili ka qelluar mbi prinderit e tij me arme dhe eshte larguar ne drejtim te paditur. Kur policia mberriti ne vendin e ngjarjes dhe rrethoi gjithe lagjen, duke perdorur policine lokale dhe SWAT team, ata zbuluan qe Arturi ishte larguar. Per t'u larguar mendohet qe ai ka perdorur taxine e tij te cilen policia e ka gjetur ne rrugen Lake Shore Drive afer liqenit. Po ashtu mesohet se policia ka gjetur dhe makinen tjeter te Arturit, nje volswagen te vitit 2001. Nuk dihen akoma shkaqet e verteta te ketij homicide por ne baze te te dhenave nga te afermit dhe shoket e tij, thuhet se Artur Shehu, kohet e fundit ka qene nen depresion dhe filloi te kurohej per te. Po ashtu thuhet se ai ka pasur probleme financiare qe sipas gjitonit te tij ishin baze e shume grindjeve midis Arturit dhe babait te tij.

Artur Shehu ka 10 vjet ne Amerike dhe prinderit e tij kishin 6 vjet ketu. Ai ka 3 motra nder te cilat 2 gjenden akoma ne Shqiperi. Ai punonte si shofer taxie dhe njerezit qe e njohin thone se ishte djale i sjellshem dhe jane te shokuar nga cfare ndodhi.

Ai tashme eshte suspect ne ceshtjen e vrasjes se prinderve te tij dhe eshte quajtur nga policia nje njeri i armatosur dhe i rrezikshem.

Ne pothuajse 9 vjet qe kam ketu ne Chicago, kjo eshte hera e pare qe shqiptaret behen objekt i nje tragjedie te tille dhe ka lene shume njerez pafjale.

Cfare mund te conte nje djale shqiptar 33 vjecar deri ne ate pike sa te qellonte mbi prinderit e tij?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fatkeqesisht depresioni dhe paraja jane objekt i shume gjerave negative qe ndodhin kudo, por si mund ta bejne ato nje njeri te mari jeten e atyre qe i dhuruan jeten atij??????????!!!!!!!!!!!

Sot ne Chicago, shume shqiptare jane te pikelluar per kete fatkeqesi qe i ndodhi kesaj familjeje, por edhe shume njerezve (si psh mamase time) ju vjen keq per jeten e ketij djali qe tashme ka marre nje kthese te dhimbshme. Nuk e di pse shume nena qajne fatin e tij kur ai beri nje nder krimet me te renda qe ekziston. Besoj se zemra e nje nene do ngelet perhere ZEMER NENE.....

Prosecutors charged Artur Shehu with two counts of first degree murder Tuesday morning while police continue to search for the man they believe killed his sleeping parents in their Villa Park home.

Shehu, 33, is suspected of shooting his parents to death in the home the three of them shared.

The victims' bodies were discovered in the home at 46 W. Ridge Road Monday after a 911 call by the suspect, who admitted in a calm voice he killed his parents, an official close to the investigation said.

Shehu, an Albanian immigrant, remains at large. Police consider him armed and dangerous.

"By the time police got there, he was gone," DuPage County State's Attorney Joseph Birkett said.

Villa Park police Chief John Payne identified the victims as 66-year-old Syrja Shehu, the suspect's father, and 67-year-old Safo Shehu, the suspect's mother.

Family members said Shehu and his parents had emigrated to the United States less than a decade ago. They previously lived in Chicago.

Mike Espinoza lives across the street from the scene of the slayings and said the family had moved into the neighborhood in late summer 2006.

"I've seen the old man, but the other guy, I'm pretty sure that's his son. I never talked to him," Espinoza said. "The lady hardly ever came out. I think I saw her once."

Authorities said Artur Shehu was a self-employed taxi driver. Authorities initially were searching for his cab and a Volkswagen Jetta he owned. Both cars have been located, Payne said.

The cab was found Monday afternoon by Chicago police in a parking lot near the Sydney Marovitz Golf Course at 3600 N. Recreation Drive along the lakefront.

Adam Kwiatkoski, a golf pro at the course, said authorities were searching the lake as well.

"They just put the taxi on the tow truck, and there's a boat now out there, too," he said.

Police searched around the golf course buildings, but Kwiatkoski said everything was locked for the season and did not appear to be disturbed.

Payne did not disclose where the Volkswagen was found.

Residents in the neighborhood were awakened at 6 a.m. by the sirens of approaching emergency vehicles. Police dispatched SWAT personnel as well, but when they entered the home, there were no signs of life.

Police then pulled back and waited several hours for a search warrant before re-entering the home. They did not find the weapon, Birkett said.

"There was no indication there was a struggle," he said. "In all likelihood, (the parents) were sleeping."

The house is near North Elementary School. Villa Park District 45 officials used a phone tree to notify parents students would be sent to other schools for the day.

Later that morning, Villa Park resident Sebastian Agrusa said he got a message from the village.

"They called to tell all the neighbors in the area to stay inside," said Agrusa, who lives a few doors from the crime scene and across the street from the school. "They had it on the TV, too, but they wouldn't say what it was and neither did the schools. We thought something was wrong with the school. It was scary. I have a kindergartner."

Birkett said Shehu has no criminal history he is aware of and authorities had no prior contact with the family.

Shehu's whereabouts are still unknown and authorities are seeking the public's help in locating him.

Police said Shehu is 33, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighs 195 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who spots Shehu should call 911 and is urged not to approach him, police said.

Villa Park police and the DuPage County Major Crimes Task Force are still investigating.

Nje cift shqiptaresh eshte gjetur i vdekur ne Cikago te Shteteve te Bashkuara te Amerikes. Syrja Shehu 66 vjec dhe Safo Shehu, 67 vjeç u gjeten nga policia te vrare ne shtepine e tyre. Policia dyshon se krimi eshte kryer nga djali i tyre, 33 vjeçari Artur Shehu, i cili sapo ka telefonuar per te raportuar ngjarjen e rende eshte larguar. Arturi jetonte se bashku me prinderit ne rrugen West Ridge blloku 99 nderkohe qe dyshohet te jete larguar me taksi nga vendi i ngjarjes. Policia beri te ditur se i dyshuari eshte i armatosur dhe mjaft i rrezikshem. Familja Shehu kishte shkuar ne shtetet e bashkuara te amerikes rreth 10 vite me pare dhe jetonin ne pjesen veriore te Cikagos. Familja Shehu kishte marredhenie te mira me komunitetin shqiptar te shteteve te bashkuara te amerikes. Sipas miqve te viktimave, cifti Shehu nuk kishte asnje mosmarreveshje me djalin e tyre Arturin, madje shpesh shprehnin keqardhjen qe ai punonte deri neo ret e vona te nates si taksist. Sipas fqinjeve te viktimave, Arturi kishte pasur probleme financiare kohet e fundit, megjithate ai nuk kishte qene kurre problematik. Sa do qe eshte per keqardhje kjo ngjarje, eshte edhe me keqardhje fakti qe disa postues nuk mund te kuptojn ende se kur nje njeri eshte i semuar psiqikisht atehere, ne mendjen e tij nuk ka dallim a eshte prindi, djali, motra apo i huaj.

Ne fillim eshte then se ka qen ne depresion dhe kjo tregon se ai nuk ka qen ne gjendje te mire mendore. Askush nuk mund te dij si ka funksionuar mendja e tij ne ate moment, madje ndoshta as ai vet nuk e din.
Depresioni eshte vetem fillimi apo nje prej shkaktareve qe dergon nje person deri te nje semundje edhe me te madhe mendore, madje deri te shizofrenia.

Dasht Zoti qe ky djal te arratiset sa me shpejt ne menyre qe te mos shkaktoj edhe nje krim e dhimbje tjeter. Gjithashtu ti ofrohet ndihma adekuate qe e kerkon.

E kutpojm dhe ne pak fare se cfare eshte depresioni po thjesht depreion nuk te cmend. Ky paska funksionuar normal se shkoka ne pune e asnjeri nuk e paska marre vesh qe s'paska qene mire nga trute. Pra aq keq nuk ka qene.

Mund te jete dhe thjesht kriminel qe ka vrare prinderit, nuk do te thote qe patjeter e ka pasur nga semundje mendore.

Dhe fakti qe ka marre marre policine ne telefon dhe vete eshte fshehur domethene qe ka qene duke menduar ne rregull.

Megjithate akoma nuk dihet tamam asgje prandaj nuk ka nevoje te te vije keq per postuesit ketu.
