I was feeling down the other day and a friend gave me this, think it's a great poem so enjoy~
I pray the lord my soul to keep
As I lay here in my grave so deep.
My life soon ended before it began
All because he didn’t understand
No one could fathom the pain inside
The nights I hurt; the tears I cried.
You said you’d be there no matter what,
You turned your back, your door loudly shut.
The blade slits one, two, three, four
My heart starts pounding, the pain I ignore
Blood pours over my finger tips and wrist
My vision blurred, the artery missed.
The stream of blood spatters on your note
Rage builds up, the blade at my throat.
Neck now punctured, there’s no turning back
My parents rushed in as my world turned black
My father in hysterics, blood everywhere
Mother stood frozen mouth open and stared
She reached for the note that lay on my chest
”Read it out loud” was my father’s request.
I hate you,
don’t need you,
Why can’t you see
I used you
it’s over
You’re nothing to me.

I pray the lord her soul to keep
As she lies in her grave so deep
Her life ended before it began
All be cause she couldn’t understand
I loved her dearly I loved her so
But it’s to late, she’ll never know
If only she knew I was just scared
To show someone I truly cared
I didn’t mean those things I said
Because of me she lays there dead
Her smile it haunts me I loved it so.
Eyes pale blue, the love they showed.
Walking up to her casket, feeling regret.
Placing a note on her chest “Love always, Brett”
I love you
still need you
Why can’t you see
My angel,
Dear darling
You’re everything to me
~~~~~
This poem goes out to all those who are thinking about taking their lives. Know there's more to life than death.. This went to show not one side of a story but how ones death can affect so many people.~~~
Godbless all
