Aurela Gaçe & Eli Fara – “Babi im”

“To our dear fathers. For those we still have near, and for those who are your guardian angels today.” Albania’s Aurela Gaçe has released an ode to fathers across the globe. “Babi im” (“My father”) sees the Eurovision 2011 alumna singing alongside Eli Fara, with the pair providing a steady and gentle ballad. The music video features clips of fathers and their daughters.

Aurela Gaçe – “Tradhëtar”

Aurela Gaçe is branding her lover a “Tradhëtar” (“Traitor”). The Eurovision 2011 singer has caught her partner cheating with another woman. Aurela is now deeming them to be an ex-partner: “Her fragrance on your body / I feel it, my pain / Every sign of her follows me like a shadow / No, I can’t find force, no reason to forgive you / You traitor, free to go”. The Albanian star wears red for the music video, a colour that could represent her rage at the situation.
