Eshte nje shkrimtare shume e njohur kanadeze Carol Shields e cila ne nje liber te saj te titulluar "The Stone Diaries" -me te cilin fitoi cmimin Pulitzer ne vitin 1995, ka aty nje personazh te quajtur Abram Gozhde Skutari.
Ne faqen 37 thuhet "...Abram Gozhde Skutari, aged thirty-four, known locally as the old Jew, a peddler of trinkets, born in the Albanian village of Prizren, the son of a Sephardic maker and trader of nails..."
