Kam nje shoqe Angleze qe do te sjelli BF e saji nga Shqiperia ne Angli per visit. Ajo me dergoi kete email. Pak a shume kerkon te di ndonje keshille qe mund ta ndihmoji me ambasaden. Une jam jam ne America dhe nuk kam ide… ndoshta ndonje nga ju??? Shume falemiderit!!!

I’ve contacted the British Embassy and they told me that if he states on his application that he is coming to see his girlfriend, he will have to pay for a settlement visa which is £260 compared to the visitor visa that he requires which costs £36. Quite a difference for having an English girlf I think.

They also stated that when if he applies for a visitor’s visa; he must show that he has paid for hotels that he will stay in during his stay. I thought this was silly seeing as he could be refused the visa and then he loses the money for the hotels too.

Anyway, do you know anyone else who’s done this, and any suggestions or advice? I’m not spinning a tale to them, he won’t be settling here, just a holiday.

And one last thing, my government is an arse for not letting Albanians into my country without a visa and making the whole process so bloody hard. But then I am biased!!!!
