Ai debotoi per here te pare me skuadren kombetare ne 1994 dhe u be numri nje vetem mbas Euro 96. Ai shkelqeu ne boterorin France 98 ku ai pesoi vetem dy gola. Y ishte nje factor kyç per Francen qe mori kupen e boterorit per here te pare. Ai ishte ne forme te shkelqyer edhe ne Euro 2000 ku Francezet triumfuan perseri. Kore Japoni ishte me pak e sukseshme per Bartezin dhe Francen megjithese me vone paten permiresime dhe u kualifikuan per Portugaline.

Bartez e filloi karrieren e tij me Tuluz FC perpara se te kalonte tek Olimpiku I Marsejes ne 1992. Ai e ndihmoi Marsejen per te fituar titullin e Liges se Kampioneve per here te pare duke munder skuadren e Milanit me rezultatin e ngushte 1-0. Megjithese kampionati u shpetoi nga duart pasi zyrtaret e klubit u zbuluan ne aferen e nje ndeshjeje.
2000: U ble nga Mançester United per 12.5 milione €. Bartez ishte nje fitues I Premier Liges ne sezonin e tij te pare ne Old Traford me pas erdhi zgjenjimi sepse Mançester e mbaroi sezonin pa zene asnje vend prestigjioz por shkoi deri ne cerekfinale ne ligen e kampioneve ku u mund nga Reali I Madridit.


2003 – 2004 : U zotua per te luftuar per vendin Nr 1 te portierit tek Mançester United. Sezoni I tij perfundoi me nje note te ulet pasi nuk u pranua ne finalen e kupes Uefa.

A rock of strength in Germany's 2002 FIFA World Cup campaign, Oliver Kahn was the first goalkeeper to be voted Player of the Tournament by the media and with good reason.

National team
Kahn was third-choice goalkeeper for the 1994 World Cup and made his international debut against Switzerland in June 1995. By the time of EURO '96™ and the 1998 World Cup he was second in line behind Andreas Köpke but by UEFA EURO 2000™ he had taken over as Germany's No1. As captain of his country in Korea/Japan, he conceded only one goal on the way to his national team's unexpected final appearance. Kahn's continued excellence meant Germany conceded just four goals in the eight UEFA EURO 2004™ qualifiers, and only let in three in the finals but his nation did not progress.

Club
Kahn began his career at Karlsruher SC in 1975 aged six. Hard work and an unshakeable self-belief propelled him into Karlsruher's first team in 1987 and his performances there captured the attention of FC Bayern München, who signed him in 1994.

1994: From then on honours flowed one after the other - Bundesliga titles, a UEFA Cup and the UEFA Champions League as well as awards for being voted the world's best goalkeeper in 1999 and 2001. Kahn's three saves in the 2001 Champions League final penalty shoot-out proved decisive in Bayern's victory against Valencia CF. On the crest of a World Cup wave, Kahn then appeared in all but one of Bayern's Bundesliga games as they cruised to the title and the German Cup.

2003/04: Struggled to recapture the form of recent years throughout the campaign as mistakes in the Champions League tie against Real Madrid CF and in the match against SV Werder Bremen cost Bayern dearly as the club failed to win a trophy. Missed only one game for his club all season.

A strong runner with the ability to play the ball with both feet, Michael Ballack is a goalscoring midfield player par excellence.

National team
It was his strike against the Korean Republic which put Germany through to the 2002 FIFA World Cup final - a game he was forced to miss through suspension. First capped in April 1999, Ballack was instrumental in steering Germany to Korea/Japan, scoring three times in his country's 5-1 aggregate play-off defeat of Ukraine. In UEFA EURO 2004™ qualifying he scored four goals and although Germany departed in the group stage, he was Man of the Match against the Netherlands and Latvia, scored a spectacular goal against the Czech Republic, and was selected in the All-Star Squad.

Club
Ballack came through the old East German youth scheme and was 14 when he signed for Chemnitzer FC. He was soon snapped up by 1. FC Kaiserslautern but fell out with coach Otto Rehhagel and was relegated to the bench.

1999: Bayer 04 Leverkusen paid €4.8m for his services in 1999. By the time he left he club he had developed into one of Europe's best midfield players. He left Leverkusen after a memorable, if ultimately heartbreaking, 2001/02 season when they came second in the Bundesliga and were beaten in the UEFA Champions League and German Cup finals. Ballack also finished with 17 league goals, and his remarkable season led to him being voted into the uefa.com users' Team of 2002 as well being named Germany's Footballer of the Year.

2002: After joining FC Bayern München in a €12.9m deal, Ballack had to adapt to a more defensive role but still managed ten goals as Bayern stormed to the Bundesliga title. He also scored twice in the 3-1 German Cup final win against FC Kaiserslautern.

2003/04: The midfield player was a big disappointment, struggling to find his finest form and managing just seven goals in 28 league matches as Bayern ended the season trophyless.

Toni Schumacher

Harald 'Toni' Schumacher (born March 6, 1954) was a famous Football goalkeeper of the 1980s and captain of the German national team. He won the 1980 European Championship with the German team and lost two World Cup finals in 1982 (against Italy) and 1986 (against Argentina).

However illustrious his career, though, Schumacher will be remembered for the vicious tackle on a French attacking player, Patrick Battiston, in the semi-final of the 1982 World Cup. Schumacher threw himself, hip first, into the path of the French defender, leaving Battiston unconscious and shattering several of his teeth. Amazingly, the referee did not send Schumacher off, or even award a free kick against him: the ball dribbled over the goal line and a goal kick was (eventually) taken after Battiston was stretchered off. A French national newspaper conducted a poll shortly after the World Cup to find the most hated man in France, and Schumacher managed to beat even Adolf Hitler (who finished second) into first place.

Schumacher's nickname 'Toni' refers to famous German goalkeeper Toni Turek.

Titullar i mesfushës me një gjuajtje qe nuk fal, Balak është një lojtar i kompletuar dhe absolutisht determinant. Kampionat Karriera e Balak filloi në Gjermaninë Lindore. Klubi i tij i parë ka qenë Chemnitzer. Emri i tij u bë i njohur tek menaxherët kur ai nënshkroi për Kaiserslauternin më 1997. Pas barazimit të pafat me Kaiserslautern, Bajern Leverkusen e bleu për 4.8 milionë euro. Dhe pikërisht në këtë skuadër shpërthen plotësisht klasi i Balak. 2001 ka qenë për të një vit i pafat: Bajern Leverkusen, në fakt humbi finalen e Ligës së Kampioneve (kundër Real Madrid, kujtoni golin e shënuar nga Zidan?), humbi vendin e parë në kampionatin gjerman dhe humbi në finalen e Kupës së Gjermanisë. Në 2002 Balak kalon nga Leverkuseni së bashku me Ze Roberton tek Bajern Mynih dhe ndërron pozicion në fushë në një rol më të tërhequr. Në vitin e parë të tij tek Bajern Mynih ai fiton titullin e tij të dytë të Bundesligës (titullin e parë të Bundesligës e ka fituar me Kaiserslautern më 1998) dhe njëkohësisht në të njëjtin vit fiton dhe kupën e Gjermanisë. Kombëtarja Prezantimi i tij i parë në kombëtare është në vitin 1999. Në 2002 i dhuroi Gjermanisë kalimin në finalen e botërorit falë golit të shënuar kundër Koresë së Jugut. Për fat të keq në të njëjtën ndeshje një karton i verdhë nuk i lejon të luajë në finalen e botërorit me Brazilin në Jokohama. Kuriozitet Balak, lindur në Saksoni, ka qenë një ndër promotorët kryesorë të kandidaturës së qytetit Laipcig për të pritur Lojrat Olimpike të vitit 2012.
