Skandal - Turpi i rradhës për kampionatin Italian

Kthehen bastet ne kampionatin Italian, si ne kohen e Milanit, e cila u denua atehere me kategorine e dyte. Deri tani jane 5 lojtare ne kete vorbull qe mcef shume te panjohura. Prokura e Napolit dhe Direzione investigativa Antimafia (DIA) kane gjetur keto lojtare te implikuar ne kete skandal sportiv. Kesaj rradhe jo vetem kategoria e pare, por edhe B dhe C.

Riskohet shume per te gjithe, nga nje denim i thjeshte per lenie ndeshjes, deri ne implikime me Camorren italiane.

Gjithashtu eshte ne proces e siper edhe Udineze. Nje skandal i madh qe eshte kapur me ane te telefonatave te ndryshme, si dhe fjaleve te lojtareve pas ndeshjeve.

Disa nga akuzat qe kane dalur nga prokura... pasi ka te tjera qe mbahen sekret per momentin jane :

La società friulana è stata tirata in ballo per un'intercettazione telefonica del 23 marzo scorso, tra Rossi e Ambrosino, dove si parla di Siena-Udinese (1-0) facendo riferimento "alla possibilità di condizionare - scrivono i pm - l'incontro di calcio al fine di conseguire grosse vincite". Rossi: "Prendiamo trenta-quarantamila euro...". Ambrosino: "Ma chi conoscete, conoscete qualcuno di quella parte?". Rossi: "Boh, non lo so devo vedere gli altri".

A far partire l'inchiesta sulle scommesse che fa tremare il calcio italiano sarebbero state alcune intercettazioni telefoniche. In particolare in una telefonata intercorsa tra l'ex portiere del Siena, Generoso Rossi e un altro calciatore della squadra toscana, Roberto D' Aversa, il primo avrebbe comunicato i risultati che si sarebbero verificati nella giornata del 18 aprile 2004: i risultati a cui i due fanno riferimento ("Chievo pari, Ascoli pari, Crotone 1, Catanzaro 2...") si sarebbero poi puntualmente verificati (Crotone-Fermana 3-0, Lumezzane Torres 0-0, Taranto-Catanzaro 0-1, Ascoli-Piacenza 0-0, Chievo-Reggina 0-0).
Un'altra partita alla quale si fa riferimento nelle intercettazioni è Lecce-Siena (0-0): in una telefonata del 7 marzo scorso, tra Rossi e un altro indagato, Angelo Mazzella di Bosco, a pochissime ore dalla partita, il calciatore "lascia intendere al secondo del pareggio finale ("è tosta perchè loro stanno andando bene, hai capito?"). "Che non si sia trattato di una innocente previsione sul possibile esito finale - chiosano i pm - lo dimostra la lunga conversazione intercettata sull'utenza di Antonio Di Dio (il presunto faccendiere ritenuto legato al clan Cavalcanti, ndr.) l'8 marzo". Di Dio parla con Nunzio De Luca, detto Gino ("anch'egli perfettamente inserito nel meccanismo fraudolento") e si lamenta "dell'insipienza del nipote Angelo, che non ha compreso il messaggio di Rossi, tanto piu' rilevante in quanto espresso poco prima dell'inizio della partita". Rossi anche in altre circostanze "nel rappresentare al suo interlocutore l'incertezza sul risultato finale di una determinata partita, ha comunque evidenziato l'esistenza di collaudati meccanismi di condizionamento, di cui sono partecipi gli addetti ai lavori". Nel provvedimento dei pm è riportata, tra l'altra, una conversazione, sull'utenza del portiere, tra Rossi e Salvatore Ambrosino, calciatore del Grosseto, al quale è stato ceduto dopo aver militato da ultimo nel Catanzaro ed "anch'egli partecipe degli accordi sottesi al condizionamento delle partite". Si parla di Chievo-Siena (1-1) a poche ore dall'incontro. A giustificazione dell'incertezza sul risultato finale, Rossi fa riferimento a "un accordo generale al quale era estraneo il solo allenatore" del Chievo, Del Neri ("il direttore ha parlato con coso...tutti d'accordo, tranne l'allenatore è d'accordo" e in una successiva telefonata "addirittura le società sono andate a parlare, ma ha detto Del Neri che vuole giocare").
Per i magistrati il fatto che gli accordi siano "trasversali" e' dimostrato da un'altra intercettazione, del 23 marzo scorso, tra Rossi e Ambrosino, dove si parla di Siena-Udinese (1-0) facendo riferimento "alla possibilità di condizionare - scrivono i pm - l'incontro di calcio al fine di conseguire grosse vincite". Rossi: "prendiamo trenta-quarantamila euro...". Ambrosino: "ma chi conoscete, conoscete qualcuno di quella parte?". Rossi: "Bo, non lo so devo vedere gli altri".

Anti-mafia police swoop



Anti-mafia police are investigating 12 Italian clubs as part of a probe into links between gambling and organised crime, Serie A club Siena said on Tuesday. Siena said police had visited their offices as part of investigations being directed by an anti-mafia unit in Naples, who removed eight boxes of documents.

The Serie A club said they were being treated as a victim in the case and that 11 other clubs - including Serie A sides Chievo Verona, Reggina and Lecce, as well as Serie B and C sides Ascoli, Catanzaro, Crotone, Fermana, Lumezzane, Piacenza, Sassari Torres and Taranto - were all involved.

A source close to the club said the investigation concerned "20 players playing for 12 different clubs, three of them currently playing for Siena".

The source said it was not clear if the cases related to this season's championship.

Gazzetta dello Sport named the Siena trio as being Generoso Rossi, Roberto D'Aversa and Nicola Ventola.

But Siena president Paolo de Luca was dismissive: "The investigators have intercepted phone calls between Rossi and d'Aversa? What's the point? Do we care about Serie B and C games? The two players will explain it to the investigators.

"They are contracted to Siena, but when they get off the pitch, they are common citizens like anyone else."

POLICE SWOOP

Reggina president Lillo Foti admitted the police had also swooped on his club, but only to take certain documents and stressed his side had done nothing wrong.

"Reggina Calcio is not under inquiry, and it has only been informed about the current investigation being carried out by the anti-mafia department.

"Our company has not been prerequisitioned. This morning, it was only to take a look at certain documents relating to the organisation of league matches."

Foti added: "I don't know anything about what De Luca is saying. What he says and what he knows is his own business. I don't know Siena's president - at the most I've seen him three times in my life."

Luca Campedelli, the Chievo president, denied his club were directly involved, also saying investigators had merely copied documents.

Governing bodies Federcalcio - who have begun their own investigation - and the Italian Football League say they have not yet been informed of the findings following the raid on Siena's offices.

The presidents of both organisations - Franco Carraro and Adriano Galliani - say they first heard of the news from inquiring journalists.

"We're waiting for further information," was the message from both bodies.

Investigation opens in Italy

Italian police are investigating claims of match-fixing involving players at several Serie A clubs. Today police officers searched the offices of AC Siena and will investigate other clubs in due course.

Investigation
The president of Siena, Paolo De Luca, said: "There is an investigation into gambling [on matches] across Italy. It seems that players from 12 Italian clubs were betting on the results of our team. We have nothing to hide and we are really calm."

FIGC statement
Four Serie A and two Serie B sides are reported as being involved in the inquiry. A statement from the Italian Football Federation said: "Until now we know only what has been written in the press [...] However, our legal office is currently following the case requesting information from the authorities in question."
