Kryeministri serb Zhivkoviç ka ofruar një forcë prej 1000 ushtarësh serbo-malazezë për të shërbyer në Irak. Lajmi bëhet i ditur nga CNN. Burime te rrjetit televiziv amerikan saktësojnë se gjatë vizitës së tij të fundit në SHBA, Zhivkoviç ka deklaruar se trupat serbe mund të bashkoheshin me forcat amerikane e të shërbenin kudo ku Uashingtoni do të dëshironte. Nga të sulmuar e faktor destabiliteti, serbët tani kthehen në "paqeruajtës". E megjithatë, pjesëmarrja në operacionet ushtarake nuk është diçka e re për trupat jugosllave. Ato kanë shërbyer në disa vende që prej Luftës së Dytë Botërore. Misioni i parë më i madh i këtij lloji ishte dislokimi i 15.000 trupave në gadishullin Sinai në fund të luftës arabo-izraelite në vitin 1959. Angazhimi i fundit jashtë vendit i Ushtrisë Popullore Jugosllave para rënies së Jugosllavisë, ishte ai i misionit të OKB-së në Angola në vitin 1991. Një numër i vogël trupash serbo-malazeze janë të angazhuar aktualisht në misionet paqeruajtëse të OKB-së. Vetëm 2 serbë po punojnë si vëzhgues në kufirin e Timorit Lindor, ndërsa një ekip prej 12 vetash ndodhet në Kongo.

Perdorimi i bombes me napalm eshte nje mjet i ligjshem per t'u marre me nje "armik te veshtire" ne menyre qe "te shpetohet jeta jote". Nuk ka ndonje konvente nderkombetare per te ndaluar perdorimin e ketyre bombave. "Nuk di ndonje metode te njohur per ta luftuar & vrare armikun me metoda humane" - shprehet nje perfaqsues i Pentagonit.

Aeroplane te Infanterise se Marines Amerikane kane hedhur te pakten nje here nje bombe me napalm MK-77 ne rrethinat e Safwan-it ne kufirin irako-kuvajtjan, konfirmoi te enjten perfaqesuesi i Pentagonit ne Washington.

Bomba MK-77 eshte nje zhvillim i metejshem i variantit te saj me nepalm M-74, perdorur nga amerikanet ne Vjetnam. Bomba eshte nje perzierje prej 250kg e benzolit, benzines dhe styroporit.
MK-77 eshte perdorur nga amerikanet dhe gjate vitit 1991 po kundra Irakut.

Ato qe, pasi leshohen ne formen e nje predhe nga avionet ushtarake, ndahen ne mijera bomba te vogla te cilat ne shumicen e tyre ngelin te pashprethyera ne toke, duke u bere objekt i kuriozitetit te femijeve, perqindja me e madhe e te cileve jane plagosur, sakatepsur apo vrare prej tyre. Dhe ket ote fundit jane te ndaluara nga nje mori konventash nderkombetare per armet...

It is generally accepted that the US has approximately 75% of the world's known serial killers. In 1994, [general] homicide rates in the US were the highest of any western nation, and it is believed that serial offenders may account for as much as 25% of this figure [Reference 9]. The FBI claims that there is about 35 serial murderers at work in the US at the moment with Norris himself claiming that there may be as many as 500 [Reference 5]. Stephen Egger, a well-respected author states “there is no doubt that the nature of this phenomenon makes estimation difficult and any numbers representing a reliable reflection of the scope of the problem impossible” [Reference 10]. Serial murder is by nature a difficult crime to estimate the prevalence. This is because they usually go unsolved for long periods, have multiple victims (not all of which may be found), and the authors making estimations draw their data from a variety of different sources. The definitions of serial murder used by individual authors will also impact heavily on what specific cases will be included in their data samples also (there is disagreement between whether a serial offence is 2, 3, 4 or more crimes).
