Through weeks of shuttle diplomacy, Western negotiators have been trying to convince Prishtina that Kosova can gain admittance to European forums if it is willing to be identified as “Kosovo”—without the word “Republic” and with a footnote that refers to UN Resolution 1244.


As a result, the Board of Directors of the Albanian American Civic League has decided to issue the attached public declaration: Save “The Republic” of Kosova. It calls on the Albanian political leadership to oppose the removal of “Republic” from Kosova’s nameplate at regional meetings and any reference to UN Resolution 1244, which was nullified when Kosova’s independence was recognized by the United States and most European Union member nations on February 17, 2008.


Since war’s end, Kosova has been asked repeatedly by the international community to make concessions to Serbia, and most of Kosova’s political elite have acquiesced to their demands. A turning point came this past week, when Prime Minister Hashim Thaci’s concession to US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State William Burns amounted to a political and moral sellout of Kosova. It is time for the government and people of Kosova to draw the line: Say “no” to UN 1244.

Historikishte ne cilin vende ne bote eshte vendosur paqa ku i ka shty hundet amerika . Per fate te keqe kjo po ndodhe edhe me Kosoven.

Rezoluta 1244 , mbetet vetem nje "kapexhik" ne ballkane per konflikte , qe amerika do ta shfrytezoje me shekuj .
Per fate te keqe shqipetaret ne Kosove ,jane shendruare si nje foshnje ,qe prete vetem amerika te ja ngate qumshtin , Behet pyetja ne raste se nje dite amerika haron ose bene se ka haruare ???

Nuk ka stabilitet ne ne Kosove, ku amerika dhe BE ja merr te drejten si shtete Kosoves per tu mbrojtur me ushtri regullative,kurse ne anen tjeter serbia vetem e perforcon ushtrine e saje.

Ne kete marreveshje ishte vete amerika dhe BE ,qe garantuane nje liri me te avansuare per shqipetaret, kurse edhe mbas 11 viteve kjo Marreveshje ase qe dihet se kush i ka dokumentat e kesaj Marreveshje te Ohrit .
Amerika dhe BE jane shkaketare (fajtore ) qe aktualishte shqipetaret e maqedonise kane mbetur popullate me me pake te drejta ne evrope .

Mos haroni shqipetare ,se Rezoluta 1244 dhe Marreveshja e Ohrit si dhe Marreshja e nderprerjes se luftimeve ne Luginen e Presheves ,jane vetem nje "kaspexhik " per konflikte ne ballkane dhe evrope ,qe kurre ti duhet amerikes vetem,ju fishkellon shqipetareve qe te dalin ne mal me pushke.

Mos haroni se tre Ambasadoret e Amerikes ne Kosove ,Shqiperi, dhe ne Maqedoni ,lujne vetem rolin se si ti venojne shqipetaret sa me shume ne entegrimet evropiane .
