Per mua eshte nje nder personat me te cuditshem qe vertiten ne politiken shqiptare.Shume misterioz me pak fjale.Do desha te di mendimin tuaj duke pare qe po na viziton prape Shqiperine qe ai e do aq shume.

Emri i vertete i tij eshte Nikos Gaxojanis. me origjine nga fshati Lia i Janines ( Greqi). Njihet si shkrimtar, libri me i njohur i te cilit eshte "Eleni" dedikuar nenes se tij, e cila u vra gjate luftes civile ne Greqi (1945-1949). Me pas, bazuar ne kete liber, u krijua filmi " Eleni" me regjisor Peter Yates dhe aktor kryesor John Malkovic, ne rolin e "Nicholas Gage". Kete film e kam pare dhe me thene te drejten nuk ka vend ku te mos permenden shqiptaret. Per keq kuptohet. Aty ku flitet per turqit e gjermanet, futen edhe shqiptaret. I portretizon komunistet greke si antinjerezore dhe qe kane lidhje me komunistet shqiptare ne kurriz te popullit grek, kur dihet shume mire qe ne 1949 kane ndodhur provokacionet e gushtit ne Korce mes forcave te ELAS-it dhe forcave shqiptare. Pa le, pa le, ne i kishim aq mire marredheniet me greket ne ate kohe, sa komunistet greke po ndanin femijet nga nenat e tyre per t'i sjelle ne Shqiperi per nje jete me te mire, nen pretekstin se ne Greqi ata do te vuanin, kurse ne Shqiperi do tu shkonte jeta vaj.Ne s'kishim buke per vete ne ate kohe, jo me te shikonim te tjeret.Nejse t'i kthehemi Gage-it.
Ne rrethet shqiptare njihet si drejtuesi i Federates Panepirotike ne USA (POAKA), qe ka per qellim "te mbroje te drejtat e grekeve kudo qe ndodhen". Ky eshte teksti i nje deklarate per shtyp te Federates Panepirotike, e leshuar ne maj te vitit 2002:

U.S., GREEK OFFICIALS AT PANEPIROTIC CONVENTION DEMAND ALBANIA STOPS
PERSECUTING ETHNIC GREEKS Washington, DC.--Leading policy makers from the
Clinton Administration and the Congress joined hundreds of delegates to the
biennial convention of the Panepirotic Federation that concluded here last
Sunday in calling on Albania to stop its persecution of the 400,000 ethnic
Greeks living in the country. The calls were echoed by the leaders of
delegations from Greece, headed by Minister of Finance, Alexandros
Papadopoulos, and from representatives of the Greek community in Northern
Epiros, including the Omonia Five leaders recently released from prison. The
convention was held from June 14 to 19 at the Grand Hotel in Washington with
a grand banquet at the Four Seasons Hotel attended by more than 400 guests.
They included Senator Paul Sarbanes, Rep. Benjamin Gillman, the chairman of
the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and Richard Schifter, President
Clinton's advisor on Central and Eastern Europe. Congressman Gillman and
Ambassador Schifter said that the Congress and the Clinton Administration are
committed to supporting full rights for the Greek minority, and Senator
Sarbanes declared that Albania "will not gain its rightful place in the
community of democratic nations" until Tirana ends all discrimination against
ethnic Greeks. Nicholas Gage, who was re-elected president of the Federation
during the convention, said that Tirana is trying to force ethnic Greeks out
of Albania in order to promote rebellion in Albanian enclaves in the former
Yugoslavia without fear that they will trigger a similar revolt in Northern
Epiros. "For the sake of stability in the Southern Balkans," he stated, "for
the sake of many thousands of American lives that would be lost in a conflict
there, but most of all, for basic human decency, we must do all we can to
insure that the ethnic Greeks of Northern Epiros survive as a community. Save
them!" In addition to re-electing Mr. Gage president, convention delegates
chose Menelaos Tzelios of New York, vice president; Dennis Triandafillou,
vice president for Canada; Spyros Stamoulis, vice president for Australia;
Spyros Rizopoulos of Washington, DC, secretary general, Nick Katsis of
Detroit, treasurer, and Fotis Galitis of New York, secretary. Five board
members were also chosen and they include Elias Betzios and Antonis Karasis
of New York, Spyros Derdemezis and Vasilis Michelis of New Jersey and Peter
Silis of Washington, DC. A resolution unanimously passed by convention
delegates calls on Albania to restore all rights to ethnic Greeks due them
under international agreements, to return all property seized system to
harass and intimidate Ethnic Greeks so that they leave Northern Epiros. The
resolution characterized such actions as "subtle ethnic cleansing." The
resolution urges the Greek government to make certain in its current dialogue
with Tirana "not to sign any understandings, including a border agreement,
that does not guaranty the security and safety of the Greek community in
Albania now and in the future." It also asks Athens to provide Northern
Epirotes working in Greece legal documentation to travel in and out of the
country freely and to help them economically to return to their homes and
earn their livelihoods. The resolution also calls on the United States and
other countries to make it clear to Tirana that their support will be based
on granting full rights to the Greek minority. When that happens, the
resolution states Greeks abroad and in Greece will do everything possible to
improve the quality of life of all Albanians. This year's Panepirotic
convention was attended by strong delegations both from Greece and the Greek
community in Northern Epiros. Besides the Greek Minister of Finance, the
delegation from Athens included three deputies from the New Democracy Party
-Antonis Foussas, Byron Polydoras, and George Trifonidis --as well as the
general director of the Political Spring Party, Manolis Kalamidas. From
Northern Epiros came four ethnic Greeks who serve in the Albania Parliament.
They include Kostas Makariades and Thomas Mitsos of the Human Rights Party
and Anastasios Angelis and Theodoros Beis of the Socialist Party.
Representing the human rights group, Omonia, were the organization's
secretary general, Dimitris Tsakas, and the five former prisoners: Theodoros
Bezianis, Vangelis Papachristou, Kostas Kyriakou, Panayiotis Martos and
Iraklis Sirmos.

Pata rastin ta takoj kete person ne Shkurt 2001 se bashku me nje tufe Shqiptaresh nacionaliste gjate nje proteste kunder Janullatosit ne NYC. Doli dhe na tha qe nuk ishte mire qe te rinj Shqiptare te bejne rrumuje te tille pasi nuk i sherbente vllazerimit mes kombeve. Dukej burre babaxhan...

Mendimi im: Nicholas Gage eshte nje Grek shovinist, ithtar i Megali-idea bizantine. Duke qene se ushtron nje influence te madhe ne US per shkak te kontakteve te tij me shume politikane ai eshte NJERI SHUME I RREZIKSHEM per sigurine kombetare te Rep. te Shqiperise. Pretendimi i tij mbetet qe Shqiperia eshte te pakten 10% greke.

Ky 10%-shi po na merr frymen. Studime te cuditshme po konfirmojne qe Shqiperia ka 11% popullate minoritare shumica e te ciles nuk eshte Greke por Vllahe. Vllahet s'jane as mish as peshk. Ata mund te ndihen Shqiptare ose Greke ne varesi te influences. Gage po influencon animin e tyre drejt identitetit Grek.

E kam lexuar kete liber dhe po cuditem qe John Malkovic paska pranuar ta beje film. Te ky liber Gage nuk eshte thjesht se pretendon per Vorio Epirin, (e kam permendur edhe ne nje postim tjeter ne kete forum) ai aty mohon komplet identitetin shqiptar dhe thote qe u krijuam si komb per te mos u perplasur greket me serbet.

Anastasios Angelis paka qene atje??? Une e dija qe ishte filogrek po te jete tjetri edhe antishqiptar edhe vazhdon te jete minister. Besoj e keni te qarte tani se nga na erdhen trazirat e 97. Nese keta vazhdojne ta mbajne pushtetin edhe 10 vjet, Vorio Epiri do behet realisht province greke.

Nuk mund te flas shume per kete njeri , si Shqiptar qe jam nuk me vjen mire qe ky eshte pritur ne Shqiperi nga te dyja partite , por mos harrojme qe jemi ne shekullin e 21 ku politika nuk behet vetem me plumba dhe faktin tjeter qe sa do qe nuk na vjen mire ne ne Greqi punojne dhe nga aty varen me qindra mijera familja shqiptare s emigrantet atje dhe njerezit e tyre ne SHqiperi .
