bruh, u talkin about a 13 times all star, a 2 times mvp, a 3 times finals mvp and a 4 times nba champion...

don't think he was "largely ignored". lol

That's my point. With such illustrious statistics over his career Duncan helped to win 4 NBA championships playing in a small market, San Antonio, but was disrespected by fans outside of San Antonio and routinely ignored by the media. LaBron James in the first month of playing in the NBA received more fan excitement, publicity and praise than Tim Duncan got in his entire career.

Considering his accomplishments I submit Tim Duncan was unjustly ignored by fans and the sports media.

well, u right if ya talking about the fans. it's just cuz he's not a spectacular player. only people who understand basketball can appreciate tim duncan.
anyway, he's may be the best player of his generation and one of the best players who ever played this game...

What Duncan can do...it's not something that usual players can. He's a shadow player,and definitely the key of Spurs success (along with Manu Panther Ginobili and Parker) .

nuk me duket se ka renje loje... perkundrazi. mbrohet me shume (te pakten ne play off). dihet qe ne kohe te jordan-it NBA-ja nuk lejonte asnje lloj mbrojtjeje zone (nje mbrojtje qe prish spektaklin, por eshte mjaft efikase). mbrojtja zone u fut ne 2002 nese nuk gabohem. edhe pse nuk eshte njelloj si ne europe.

Kështu mund të thuash edhe për futbollin,edhe për ndonjë sport tjetër. Për mendimin tim secili nxjer konkluzionet në bazë të asaj që ka parë,dhe pasi i ka analizuar mirë e mirë nxjer një përfundim. Normalisht,unë them që moshat e mëdha(pa ofendim për asnjë) ndjejnë nostalgji,mall dhe melankoli për kohërat e vjetra,apo ato kohëra në të cilët ata kanë qënë të rinj.Psh shiko tifozat e futbollit në forum(ata në moshë të madhe,e përsëris, PA OFEZË PËR ASNJË) . Nuk ka asnjë gjë në botë ti bëjë ata të hedhin poshtë kombëtaret e atyre kohërave me kombëtaret e këtyre kohërave(psh tifozat Gjerman,Hollandez,Brazilian,Italian). Ose ke super diskutimin,Messi vs Maradona. Kush është mbi 35 thotë Maradona kategorikisht më i mirë se Messi.Moshat e reja janë të prirura drejt Messit.
Megjithatë,nuk mund të krahasosh Jordan me lojtarë të tjerë,dmth jo derisa të vijë dikush që do bëjë diferencën karshi të tjjerëve.
