Its that simple. Never before have thrash metals big four shared the same stage at a single gig. Were about to make heavy metal history with a festival in Poland today that is quite literally like no other that has gone before. And just to make this ground-breaking event that bit more epic, we decided to hold it in an airport.
Close to 100,000 people will be in Poland to witness this spectacular show, with 5,000 making the trip from the UK alone.
Were also hearing reports of metal fans from all across Europe making the pilgrimage to Poland, alongside fellow thrash-heads jetting in from as far away as America and Australia. In some ways its no surprise.
This is the equivalent of the Holy Grail for head-bangers and when the four metal giants have finished Warsaw is unlikely to know whats hit it.
The good news is that this isnt a one-off. The first stops Poland, but the big four will also be thrashing the hell out of Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey and Greece before the tours through.
