Një vajzë britanike është vrarë në mënyrë makabre nga ish i dashuri i saj, pasi ajo vendosi në rrjetin social FaceBook fotot e saja me të dashurin e ri shqiptar.
Paul Bristol e goditi 20 herë me thikë ekonomisten Camille Mathurasingh pasi ajo kishte vendosur në FB fotot më të dashurin Besim Haxhia.
Ish i dashuri i saj Paul Bristol është dënuar me 22 vite burg pasi mbërriti në Londer nga ishujt Karaibe për t'u hakmarrë ndaj saj pasi pa në FB fotot me të dashurin shqiptar.
Ai e kreu vrasjen pasi ish e dashura i tha se gjithçka mes tyre kishte marrë fund dhe se ajo kishte nisur një lidhje të re.
Duke lexuar masën e dënimit gjykatësi Timothy Pontius tha: është më se e qartë se xhelozia ishte motivi i vetëm që ju shtyu ta vrisnit ish të dashurën tuaj pasi mendonit se asnjë mashkull tjetër nuk mund ta zinte vendin tuaj si i dashur në jetën e viktimës.
Në shkurt të vitit të shkuar viktima nisi një lidhje të re dashurie me emigrantin Besim Haxhia duke postuar disa foto në FB pa e ditur se ato foto do të ktheheshin në motivin e një krimi makabër.
Një ditë përpara takimit me ish të dashurin ajo i dërgoi një mesazh në telefon Haxhisë ku i thoshte: “Mbase siqeriteti nuk ka asnjë kuptim por është me rëndesi për mua ta kem zemrën dhe mendjen e pastër për gjërat që do të pasojnë”, duke i lënë të kuptohej se ajo duhej të takohej me ish-të dashurin për t'i treguar lidhjen e re që kishte nisur.
Ky ishte mesazhi i fundit që Besim Haxhia do të merrte nga e dashura, pasi ajo një ditë më pas do të goditej 20 herë me thikë në qafë, kraharor, shpinë, dhe në këmbë nga ish-i dashuri i cili tentoi të kryente vetëvrasje duke u përplasur me një makinë.

London, March 09: A British man has been jailed for at least 22 years for murdering his ex-girlfriend after he saw a picture of her on the internet with another man.

Paul Bristol, 25, stabbed Camille Mathurasingh to death when he saw her on social networking site Facebook with a new lover, Sky News reported.

Bristol flew 4,000 miles (6,437kms) from Trinidad to London, where he confronted his former lover about her new relationship with Besim Haxhia.

He stabbed the 27-year-old 20 times at her home in east London, before cutting himself and crashing her car.

The IT technician, who worked for the Trinidad and Tobago Ministry of Administration, rejected the charge of murder, claiming he committed manslaughter through provocation.

Judge Timothy Pontius described Bristol as being "eaten up by jealousy."

He said, "you attacked her with such repeated savagery and horrifying ferocity that it was your intention to kill her."

Pontius described Mathurasingh as someone "who would not want in any way to hurt his feelings and was very concerned to let him down gently."

Paul Hubert Bristol’s rage at his ex-girlfriend was apparently so intense that it endured the process of a trip from Trinidad to England, where she lived, and where he went to allegedly stab her to death.

The body of 27-year-old Camille Mathurasingh was found last Friday, in the flat she shared with her parents, by officers who had earlier been to the scene when Bristol, 24, crashed his car after the murder last Friday.

Bristol was at the time driving a Nissan Micra in Whitechapel, three miles away from the scene of the murder on Arrow Road, Bromley-by-Bow, in London’s East End.

Bristol, who was not seriously hurt in the accident, appeared before district judge Alison Rose at the Thames Magistrates’ court in London, yesterday morning, charged with murder.

He was remanded in custody and is to appear at the Old Bailey on July 14. No application for bail was made by his lawyer.

Mathurasingh, who was once employed with First Citizens Bank (now called First Citizens) in Trinidad and with PriceWaterhouse Coopers in Bermuda, had been living with her parents in England for about a year.

The dead woman’s parents recently sold their house and bought a small flat, with the intention of eventually returning to Trinidad.

A source told the Express that Bristol and Mathurasingh were in a relationship while she lived in Trinidad, but had broken up before she left.

A week ago, Bristol entered Britain on a visitor’s visa and was due to return to Trinidad later this month. He had made it known that he had arrived to see his ’girlfriend’’.

Following Friday’s car crash, in which the Nissan Micra careened out of control and flipped over in the busy main road at a traffic-light junction, officers found Bristol near the car and advised him that he needed to be treated at a hospital.

He spent the weekend at the hospital being treated for cuts to his face, neck and hands, where he was also interviewed by police about Mathurasingh’s stabbing. They then charged him with murder.

When asked in court for his address, Bristol, who was wearing a white T-shirt and white track suit bottom, replied: ’Not in this country.’

A post-mortem on Monday showed that Mathurasingh died from multiple stab wounds.

Neighbours at Arrow Road spoke of seeing Mathurasingh regularly out and about on the street, referring to her as ’a quiet woman’.

Her sister was a regular guest at the house, and neighbours often saw the sister’s two children being taken to school.

But on Friday, they remarked that the children had not been seen for about two weeks.

One neighbour told the East London Advertiser: ’I came home to find police swarming all over the place. We are trying to get back to our normal lives in this street, but it is terrible with the woman’s body found next door.’

An incident room has since been set up by detectives, who have been appealing for witnesses and for information about Mathurasingh.

Attempts yesterday to locate Mathurasingh’s relatives in Trinidad were fruitless.

The only relative found, senior economist at Republic Bank Dr Ronald Ramkissoon, declined comment.
