Kronika e Top Channel e dt 12 janar 2010, titulluar "Katastrofa rrezikon 300 mije banore" flet per digat dhe permbytjet ne Shkoder. Por, sic shihet me poshte, fotografia e artikullit eshte ne fakt permbytja qe ndodhi ne Angli, ne qytetin Tewkesbury, ne korrik te vitit 2007.

Vetem pak dite me pare, ne 7 janar 2010, gazeta Shekulli beri te njejten gje duke publikuar tek artikulli per permbytjet e Shkodres nje foto nga permbytja ne Mozambik te Afrikes gjate shkurtit te vitit 2007. Te nesermen, pasi lajmi i ketij skandali u publikua ne disa faqe interneti shqiptare, perfshi dhe Ramaik.com, Shekulli e zevendesoi foton tek faqja e vet ne internet me nje fotografi nga Shkodra.

Perseri dje, ne 11 janar 2010, Shekulli publikoi ne nje artikull per permbytjet ne Shkoder gjate ketyre diteve nje fotografi qe ishte bere gjate rreshjeve te shumta dhe permbytjes ne Barbulloj te Lezhes ne nentor te vitit 2009. Pasi Ramaik.com publikoi artikullin qe vertetonte kete skandal, Shekulli beri te njejten gje si me pare, e hoqi fotografine nga faqja e vet dhe e zevendesoi me nje foto nga Shkodra.

Ajo qe bie ne sy tek te dy incidentet, si tek ai i Shekullit me foto nga Afrika dhe ky i Top Channel-it me foto nga Britania e madhe, eshte fakti qe keto fotografi tregojne pamje permbytjesh masive me pasoja katastrofale. Mesa duket qindra foto te permbytjeve te rrethit te Shkodres nuk plotesojne kriterin e katastrofes qe do deshin te pasqyronin keto dite Shekulli, Top Channel, apo ndonje media tjeter, sipas porosive te Edi Rames apo kujtdo qofte qe perpiqet me cdo kusht te perhape panik ne popull dhe te shfrytezoje krizen dhe fatkeqsine per qellime politike.

On January 12, 2010, Top Channel, the biggest Albanian TV station, published an article on its website about the ongoing flood in northern Albania, in the area of Shkodra. The article was titled "The catastrophe endangers 300 thousand people". However, as you can see below, the picture of the article is actually a scene from the July 2007 flood in Tewkesbury, England.

Just a few days ago, on January 7, 2010, Shekulli newspaper, who coincidentally is the daily paper with the biggest circulation in Albania, published an article about the same flood in Shkodra, Albania, illustrating it with a picture showing a February 2007 flood in Mozambique, Africa (click here to see the picture and scroll down for the English version). The photograph was taken from the website of the Spanish newspaper El Pais, and it was even published on Shekulli's site with the same file name. The next day, after the incident was reported on several Albanians blogs and forums, including Ramaik.com, Shekulli took the picture down from its website and replaced it with an actual picture from Shkodra, Albania.

Yesterday, Shekulli did the same thing on its article about the current flood in Shkodra, with a picture showing scenes from Lezha (another Albanian area/city) from November 2009. Shortly after Ramaik.com reported on it, it took the picture off its website.


What's common on both foreign pictures published by Shekulli and Top Channel as scenes from the flood in Shkodra, Albania, is that both of them show widespread and massive flood scenes that have caused catastrophic damages.

Both Top Channel TV and the Shekulli newspaper are widely perceived by Albanians as one-sided, politically biased, often carrying the political agenda of Edi Rama, Tirana's mayor and the head of the opposition Socialist Party in Albania, which lost the general elections of June 2009. Such perceptions were also confirmed by the media monitoring of, and the report from, OSCE/ODIHR during the summer of 2009.

Edi Rama and the Socialist Party have contested the parliamentary election results of last June 28, 2009 and have boycotted the newly assembled Parliament. They have called for Prime Minister Sali Berisha, the head of the Democratic Party of Albania, to reopen the ballot boxes or else step down.

In the last few days, during the flooding in North-Western Albania, Edi Rama has been vocally criticizing the Albanian Government of the handling of the flood crises. He has even accused Sali Berisha of corruption-related agendas that caused the flooding. Rama has said that the current flooding is not a natural disaster, it is a disaster caused by mishandling and corruption, by bad governance.

Edi Rama's political posturing regarding the flooding crises and his perceived intent to capitalize it, by both presenting the flood and its effects in the worst light and also blaming the government for it, has been ecoed in the reporting of the flood from Top Channel, Shekulli, and that of some other media outlets as well.

P.sh. Ne qofte se ka ndodhur një vrasje vene një foto te një hetimi policie qe ka rrethuar një vend dhe po bën hetim por qe s'ka fare lidhje me vrasjen ne fjale. E bëjnë sa për ilustrim.

S'është gjë e mire por ne Shqipëri s'ka gazetari te mirëfillte por gazetari pak si dembele qe nuk i thotë jo lajmit te gatshëm.

Kjo ndodh me çdo stacion ose gazete për çdo lajm. Ne vend qe te përdorin një foto te tanishme përdorin foto nga arkivat.

P.sh. Ne qofte se ka ndodhur një vrasje vene një foto te një hetimi policie qe ka rrethuar një vend dhe po bën hetim por qe s'ka fare lidhje me vrasjen ne fjale. E bëjnë sa për ilustrim.

S'është gjë e mire por ne Shqipëri s'ka gazetari te mirëfillte por gazetari pak si dembele qe nuk i thotë jo lajmit te gatshëm.

S'eshte aspak as gafe, as gabim, as i njejti rast me kete qe thua ti.

Eshte e qellimshme dhe do ne fakt me shume pune sesa te vesh ne artikull nje foto nga Shkodra, ndaj s'eshte aspak pertaci apo ngaterrese.

Perfytyroje pak. Je gazetar ne median me te madhe, do besh nje artikull per permbytjet ne Shkoder, disponon qindra foto dhe dhjetra video me materiale per permbytjet ne Shkoder, i ke gati, i gjen kudo tani dhe nese s'je televizion, si nga mediat shqiptare dhe te huaja.

Tani si kalon nga kjo tek fotoja me lart, e cila i perket nje vendi komplet tjeter, nje kohe dy vite e ca me pare, dhe te cilen duhet ta kerkosh ne Google qe ta gjesh, foto e cila tregon nje permbytje masive me shume deme materiale, njesoj si ne rastin e fotos nga Afrika te Shekullit.

Ne fakt kjo foto s'eshte e para qe del kur kerkon per flood (permbytje) keshtu qe do vertet pune dhe perkushtim duke kerkuar ne Google per te gjetur foto tragjike nga ngjarjet e botes dhe per ti mashtruar me to shqiptaret, per te perhapur panik.

Nuk jam dakort me interpretimin tend, eshte e vertete ajo qe ka thene "lojaxhiu".

Pse, nga filmimet autentike qe shikon ti te bera nga telvizionet shqiptare: Klan, Top Channel, Tvsh, News 24 etj; nuk ka skena ne Shkoder shume here me te tmerrshme se kjo e fotos Angleze?!
