Cheating wife makes me sleep on the floor



MY wife begged me to take her back after she had an affair. Now she says she wants to take up with her lover again and makes me sleep on the floor downstairs.

I’m 44 and my wife is 42. We have been together for 20 years and have two children, a girl aged 19 and a boy of 16.

When my wife was pregnant with our daughter, I stupidly had an affair which went on for about 18 months. I even left her for the other woman.

Then I saw sense and returned home. Since then we had our son, bought a great house and have been really happy.

Ever since I have known her, my wife has been shy and easily embarrassed.

She suffered from a red neck and chest flushes which got her down.

I encouraged her to have an operation that stopped her blushing and she became more confident.

She got a job in the accounts office at a warehouse where most of the workers were men. After only three months I found out she was having an affair with a guy there.

She moved in with him and I was devastated. After a couple of months, she asked me to take her back. I love her so I did.

The first two days were fine. We held hands and kissed but she didn’t want sex. She said she doesn’t love me passionately so I have to sleep downstairs.

Now she wants to carry on seeing this guy because she isn’t sure what she wants. She says she still has feelings for him. She keeps throwing my affair back at me — but that was 20 years ago. I’m now on antidepressants. I just want her back.

Now I’m devastated because he’s leaving in a few days. I know he’ll be back to visit but I don’t think I can cope with him being so far away.

I asked her afterwards if anything was going on between them. She said I was being paranoid but I didn’t believe her.

I was due to go away for the night on business and she said she was staying in with a friend.

I wasn’t happy about leaving her alone and I set up the video camera up before I left.

I was devastated when I played it back and saw her and my best mate making love.

At first she denied it but then I showed her the evidence. Instead of being sorry all she did was go mad at me for trying to catch her out. She said I was sneaky.

I am finding it so hard to come to terms with what she’s done and I can’t get those images out of my head.

She says she loves me and wants to save our marriage but how can I trust her after this?

Is baby's father my hubby or my boss?



MY husband and I were trying for a baby last year. I’m now heavily pregnant and should be ecstatic – but I’m scared he’s not the father.

I’m 27 and my husband is 29. We’ve been together for ten years and married for five.
I have never loved anyone as much as I love him, and a baby should make our life complete.

We were having wonderful sex at the time and I would love to think it resulted in the pregnancy.

But I made a terrible mistake that is spoiling what should be the happiest time of my life, and it could end up ruining everything.

We had an office outing six months ago and I got really drunk.

A gang of us decided to go clubbing after the meal and I danced with the young manager I’ve quietly fancied for ages.

We shared a taxi home and he invited me back to his place. He said it was just for a drink but we both knew what would happen.

It was just a cheap romp and I regretted it almost immediately. We used a condom but he said it split.

I tried not to think any more about it — except to avoid him at work — until I realised I was pregnant.

I went to a clinic straight away. The nurse said that, from the dates I gave her, the baby was conceived with my husband.

I was very relieved and so excited to be pregnant. But now the doubts have set back in and I don’t know what to do.

I’m scared I’m going to lose everything.

I would hate it if my baby was conceived in drunken lust.

I’ve never cheated before and so regret it.
