Është fakt që ka shënuar pederi portugez 40 gola gjatë sezonit të kaluar, nuk e mohon kush. Po shife mirë se vetëm 10 gola i ka dhënë Newcastle, nja 10 tjerë Fullham , nja 5 tjerë West Ham, 5 tjerë Dinamo Kiev, e nja 10 tjerë Bolton, Blackburn, Sunderland, Wigan lol. Edhe nja 5 tjerë nga penalltia ku i ka shënuar dhe Arsenalit hahaha. I mirë është kundër këtyre skuadrave Sunderland, Wigan, Blackburn e Bolton ky pederi.

Një lojtarë i madh di të luaj mirë në çdo ndeshje, dhe di të tregoj vetën nëpër ndeshje e mëdhaja. Pederi portugez në ndeshjet e mëdha nuk shifet me topin gjatë 90 minutave, e jo më të dalë më i dalluari në ndeshje, gjej ndonjë ndeshje të madhe që pederi portugez ka qenë lojtari kryesorë i ndeshjes dhe më i dalluari e i ka sjellë fitoren Man Utd?! (Përballë Chelsea, Liverpool dhe Arsenal çfarë ka bërë? Është parë me topin apo ska luajtur?) Në Champions League kundër Barcelonës a bëri ndonjë gjë? Një penalti e pati dhe atë e knaqi, po me Chelsean ku e çoj penaltinë në finale? Se gjatë ndeshjeve nuk shifet... Në Europianin 2008 çfarë bëri me Portugalinë? A tregoj ndonjë vlerë të vetë se është ndonjë lojtar i madh?
(Pastaj mos flasim për ndeshjen që zhvilloj kundër Kombëtares tonë, e bëri "Vangjeli" për ujë, i gjithë stadiumi e firshëllonte).

Tani në sezonin e ri 2008/9 luajti Man Utd kundër Arsenalit çfarë bëri ky pedeja? A tregoj ndonjë cilësi të lojtarit të madh? A bëri ndonjë gjë? (Pse nuk e nxori Man Utd nga balta dhe ta fitoj ndeshjen?) Aman se nuk ia vlenë... në çdo ndeshje i ngre duart dhe në fund del si i dhjerë.

Po të jap një shembull, jo ta krahasoj me Messin, por siç të kam thënë këtë nuk mund ta vesh as para Torres dhe Fabregas nga të rrinjtë.

Liverpool striker Fernando Torres was chosen Best Player of the Year at the Premier League during Northwest soccer prize ceremony.
Fernando Torres was given an award for his great contribution to soccer during 2007/2008, his first season at the Premier League. It turned out to be crucial for Liverpool, where he scored 33 goals before being Spain key player during Euro2008.

When he accepted the award, Torres said he felt "very honored", but he added with his usual humble atittude that manager Rafael Benitez, his teammates and the fans contributed to this moment "because of all the support they gave me since I arrived in Liverpool."

"Everybody helped me get adapted, and the fact that people outside the team think that what I did is good enough to deserve this award is also a tribute for them," Torres remarked.

The international striker also praised Liverpool fans, whose support to him was "fantastic", so he dedicated the prize "especially to them."

The other candidates to win the award were Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo, Everton's Joleon Lescott and Manchester City's Richard Dunne.
