We have been under a massive assault here in the South. The last 3 days a virtual rampaging army of tornadoes have swept across this region destroying homes and snuffing out human lives. Last night there were 173 separate tornadoes documented on Doppler Radar bringing death dealing winds as powerful as 190 miles per hour. Last night I went outside on the front porch and saw neighbor after neighbor all standing with anxious, searching eyes toward the west. At one point I heard a roar like a freight train, the signature sound of an approaching tornado, but none was spotted. The death count is 280 with many victims yet to be discovered in the rubble. I don't know if you are plagued with tornadoes in the Balkans but it is one of the most awesome, terrifying and destructive forces of nature.

Natën e kaluar ka pasur 173 tornadot të veçanta të dokumentuara në Doppler Radar duke sjellë erërat e vdekjes që kanë të bëjnë aq i fuqishëm sa 190 kilometra në orë. Natën e kaluar unë shkova jashtë në hajat përpara dhe pa të afërmit pas fqinj të gjithë në këmbë me ankth, duke kërkuar sytë drejt perëndimit. Në një moment kam dëgjuar një ulërimë si një tren mallrash, të shëndoshë nënshkrimin e një uragan i afrohet, por askush nuk ishte i ndotur. numërimin e vdekja është 280 me shumë viktima ende për t'u zbuluar në rrënojat. Unë nuk e di nëse janë rrënuar me tornadot në Ballkan, por ajo është një nga forcat më të awesome tmerrshme dhe shkatërruese të natyrës.
