If you like some good laughs I hope you have seen the "Saturday Night Live" Skit of the dueling Star Trek crews involving the main crew led by Captain Kirk in the original Starship Enterprise and the "Next Generation" Star Trek crew led by Captain Jean-Luc Picard. It was hilarious. They both faced off and starting breaking balls. Kirk and Picard started mouthing off to each other. Spock made some disparaging remark about the robot, Data. One of Picard's crew said something about Spock's ears. Dr. McCoy pointed out they would never have a Klingon like Wprf in a position of power in Captain Kirk's crew. Somebody called Dr. McCoy an old quack. I think it was Uhura that smirked they would never let a babbling moron like Whoopi Goldberg on their ship. Finally it looked like both groups had that phasers on "Kick ass" LOL
This was one time Spock did not offer his hand salute to utter "Live long and prosper"

Do they? Well, I don't know. I rarely (now, if not at all but before i used to watch it more often) watch start trek, and I knew it was from Start Trek but I didn't know it was Captain Kirk who said it. When I think about it I guess you are right. I've watched a bit of each of the series, mostly with the one with Picard (it is why i said Picard, he is more awesome anywya) and then Kirk....and those two were the ones I enjoyed the most.
I was going to have as a signature what your grandmother used to tell you but i decided to go with this one. She is right and many other people say the same thing and I do agree with them 100%. Even though the words best is used by no means it is the only one. Joy would also be the best medicine and there is a correlation between the two, one leads to the other, then it leads to another word which has the same effect, as long as all of them affect the well being of a person in a positive way then all of them are the best medicines.
Nah, I didn't watch it but if it is as funny as you make it sound then I wish I could have watched it. Tomorrow if I'm not tired or when I have a day off (assuming I don't forget about this) I'll try and look it up and hopefully be able to see it fully. lots of writing, not a big fan :-(
