This is the largest marine cave in the country, 30 m long, 10-15 m high and 9.5 m wide. The entrance to the cave is at sea level, where water depth reaches 10 metres. Its position makes it possible for boats to take shelter there. Haxhi Aliu and his son took shelter there with their two boats in the 18th century. For a period of time he used the cave as a base from where he attacked English, Venetian and French warships.
