Bankruptcy is the last thing you should do. There must be something else before you go for it. Talk to a financial adviser. If you go to your local church they might help as well.Postuar më parë nga Goc_Labe
I don’t know your financial situation... but as a finance student here’s some general advice before you go through Bankruptcy.
1-Create two columns. Write down all your expenses on one and Income on the other
2-Take a look at all your expenses. Which one can you eliminate? Which one can you reduce? E.g. If your cellphone plan is$ 49.99 reduce it to $19.99… if it is not possible to eliminate the bill. Switch to basic landline plan (eliminate caller id and the extras). Avoid Starbucks, Movies, and prepare to live on rice and beans for a short period of time.
3-Clean out your closet and have a yard/garage sale. Sell your car before the bank repossesses it.
4-I don’t know if you have looked at the possibility of getting a part-time job.
After you've done all that
1-Call the credit card company and discuss a payment plan with them.
2-Start by paying the cc company that has the highest interest rate first
That’s pretty much my advice, but I don’t know your situation...so please check with a Financial adviser before going to a bankruptcy lawyer.
Good luck
