Freemasonry is an ancient fraternity which groups under its banners men of every race, of every nationality, and of every religion. Wishing to do away with all cause for division and strife, Freemasons continually seek the means which will help all human beings to unite and become as one in the cause of the good of the whole. Masonic orders are divided into several rites which, though they may differ, spring from the same goal. That common goal is the reunion of Man with his Divine Source.

American Co-Masonry is a Masonic order which works the Scottish Rite from the 1st through the 33rd degrees, plus some degrees of the York Rite. That which distinguishes the American Co-Masonic Order from other Masonic workings is that, instead of admitting men only to its ranks, it admits women on an equal footing. It is sovereign and does not depend on any foreign rulership or control. American Co-Masonry proclaims equal rights for both sexes and absolute freedom to search for the truth; the utmost toleration is demanded from all members.

American Co-Masonry operates as a non-profit corporation chartered by the State of Colorado under the name "The American Federation of Human Rights," with headquarters in Larkspur, Colorado.

American Co-Masonry, through its organization, its disciplines, its philosophic orientation, and symbolic rituals, continues the traditions of the old Mystery Schools, providing an opportunity for spiritual growth and service to humanity.

Declaration of Principles

Freemasonry is a system of morality developed and inculcated by the science of symbolism.

American Co-Masonry is founded on the principles of freedom of conscience, solidarity and justice, and is based on the facts of Brotherhood. It is organized as the American Federation of Human Rights, Incorporated, and stands for the Human Duty of mutual service.

It is Freemasonry opening its Temple to women as well as to men, because it recognizes that united strength is necessary and that efforts made by one sex alone are inadequate for the solution of economic, social and ethical problems.
In accordance with the ancient declaration of Freemasonry, The American Federation of Human Rights asserts the existence of a Supreme Power under the name of "The Great Architect of the Universe," at the same time leaving Human Reason at perfect liberty to differ in regard to His Attributes.
It imposes no restrictions on free search after truth, and in order to secure that freedom, exacts the greatest tolerance from its members.

Brethren, our order was formed in March 1908 when we were called The Honourable Fraternity of Antient Masonry. We are a regular Masonic Order open to all women, unlike Adoptive Masonry which restricts its membership to women who are fortunate to have Masons among their near family. As you know, we are open to all women of full age, of good report and holding a belief in a Supreme Being.
We are firmly established as a genuine Masonic organisation, exclusively for women and our Masonic secrets came into the possession of the Order in a clear and regular way, given freely to women by Masons.

For the last two hundred years, there have been repeated stories told of women who obtained the Masonic secrets by hiding behind doors and listening from cupboards, but it was in no clandestine manner that our modern Order obtained them.

In 1882, a lodge working under the Charter of the Ancient and Accepted Rite of La Grande Loge Symbolique de France. called lodge Les Libres Penseurs, resolved that the time had come when women who had proved themselves free and of mature mind and understanding should receive initiation into Masonry. The first woman to receive the honour of this freely offered initiation was Mlle. Maria Destraimes. As a direct consequence of this noble and far-sighted action lodge Les Libres Penseurs was forced to detach itself from its parent body and form a separate Masonic body known as La Grand Loge Symboloique Ecossaise, so symbolically identifying itself with the strong and individual traditions of Scottish Freemasonry.

One of the early initiates was Mrs (Dr) Anne Besant, a woman very active in the Theosophical Society, who quickly became a leader in this new movement. The name of the Order was subsequently changed to that of the Universal Order of Co-Masonry and it spread rapidly throughout the world. It arrived in Britain in 1902 and the first London Co-Masonic lodge was formed on 26th September 1902.

I am a woman, an American, and a Freemason. When I tell

American men who are Freemasons this, they are generally surprised.

This is largely because of the fact that American Freemasonry has been

cut off from the rest of the world. Women Freemasons internationally

now number in the tens of thousands. There are more than 60,000 women

Freemasons in England. Women's lodges also exist in France, Spain,

Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Denmark, Germany, Turkey, Argentina,

Canada, and now, the USA. I have undoubtedly omitted a few countries

with which I am not yet familiar. I am, by the way, the daughter of

an American Mason who was 32nd degree Scottish Rite.



As most Masons know, while Freemasonry grew out of operative

Masonry which had its roots in the middle ages, modern Freemasonry was

officially born in June of 1717 when in London four Lodges got

together to form a Grand Lodge. From England, Freemasonry was

introduced into the American colonies and also into France. The first

Provincial Grand Lodge of Massachusetts was founded in July or August

of 1733, with a deputation from the Right Honourable Anthony Browne,

Viscount Montagu, Grand Master of England. (Who was, incidentally, my

first cousin, 11 times removed -- I am descended from his

grandfather.) Freemasonry was likewise introduced into France in about

1735. The first woman was initiated into Freemasonry in France in

about 1740.

Nese jane vegla te masonerise nuk ka asgje per tu cuditur (megjithese personalisht nuk perzjej gjithe masonerine por kreret e saj). Po te lexohet me vemendje tema e Illuminatit dhe te perqendroheni tek synimet e tyre dhe menyren sesi kane manipuluar masat ne 200 vitet e fundit atehere ska asnje cudi qe ngjarjet te cilat jetojme sot jane thjesht pjese e skenarit per instalimin e Rendit te Ri Boteror.
