Lufta ne irak ?! (vietnam apo somali)

ASN News reported referring to Islam Online that US Muslims called for a Pentagon probe of a photograph circulating on the Internet that showing an American soldier apparently mocking an Iraqi child.

On the photo, an American soldier is standing next to two Iraqi children who are giving the thumbs-up sign.

One child holds a hand-lettered sign in English that reads: «Lcpl Boudreaux killed my Dad, th(en) he knocked up my sister!». ('Knocked up' is American slang for making someone pregnant out of wedlock).

«If the United States Army is seeking to win the hearts and minds of the Iraqi people, this is the wrong way to accomplish that goal», Muslim Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) Executive Director Nihad Awad said Friday, April 2.

«Defense Department officials must take action to let military personnel know that such offensive behavior harms America's image and will not be tolerated», Awad said.

Nihad Awad also said that if these photos are real, then they are showing more plainly how the US is fighting against international terrorism and liberating the Iraqi people.

Mr. Awad also called on the military to prove to the soldiers that they arrived in Iraq not to kill peaceful civilians, but to fight terrorists.

Awad said CAIR has also received an anonymous letter from a soldier who recently returned from Iraq that claims a commanding officer engaged in inappropriate conduct with prepubescent Iraqi girls.

The letter states that the officer, who was named by the writer, referred to the girls as 'pre-rag heads' and coerced local Iraqi leaders to provide them in exchange for protection by American soldiers.

Awad said the officer's military unit was also named in the letter.

«The thought of all this makes me sick to my stomach. I am afraid to bring this to anyone in the Army, because I am doubtful that they would believe a soldier over the Battalion Commander», read the letter.

The CAIR executive director said that these reports point to «a disturbing pattern of behavior that needs to be addressed by our military».

He called on the US command to investigate and to confirm this particular incident. If the incident is confirmed, then dozens of crimes of the US troops in Iraq can be reported.

June 16, 2003 International Human Rights agency reported that 57 cases of rape of Iraqi women by the coalition soldiers have been registered.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) -- More violence struck Iraq ahead of the anniversary of the start of the U.S.-led war that ousted Saddam Hussein: a deadly car bomb exploded Thursday, three U.S. soldiers died in mortar attacks and four Iraqi journalists were shot to death.

The U.S. military, meanwhile, lowered the death toll in a suicide bombing at a Baghdad hotel on Wednesday to seven.

Officials had earlier said 27 people were killed in the Baghdad bombing. It then revised that downward to 17 dead without elaborating. Hours later, the military said that just seven had been killed.

There was no clear explanation for the change but Iraq doesn't have a centralized system for handling such tragedies, and with the bodies of victims going to different morgues, government departments and other agencies often disagree over death tolls.

The suicide car bombing occurred near a hotel in Basra as a British military patrol passed by, killing two men and a boy in addition to the bomber. A man who got out of the car before the blast was stabbed to death by passers-by.

Three of the journalists were killed as they drove to work at a coalition-funded television station in Baqouba, 35 miles northeast of Baghdad. Nine other employees of Diyala TV were wounded in the attack on their minibus, said Sanaa al-Daghistani, the station's information director. Rebels often target Iraqis perceived as collaborators with the occupation.

A fourth journalist died in separate violence when American soldiers shot and killed a cameraman from an Arab station and critically wounded a correspondent in Baghdad, the station said.

The all-news station Al-Arabiya, based in the United Arab Emirates, said cameraman Ali Abdel-Aziz and correspondent Ali al-Khatib were hit as they covered a nighttime rocket attack on Burj al-Hayat hotel in the capital.

Cpl. Craig Stowell, a U.S. military spokesman, said «one Iraqi was shot and killed when he tried to run a checkpoint near Burj al-Hayat hotel at 22:16». Stowell had no further details.

The New York-based Committee to Protect Journalists said it would investigate the circumstances surrounding the four deaths.

At the United Nations, Secretary-General Kofi Annan said he is sending a U.N. team back to Iraq 'as soon as possible' in response to an Iraqi request for help in organizing the political transition and elections.

Late Thursday, insurgents targeted the Ministry of Oil and the Bourj al-Hayat Hotel in Baghdad with several rockets and explosive devices. There were no injuries. One projectile punctured a hole in the second floor of the hotel, which sometimes houses Kurdish politicians.

Sirens also wailed briefly in the area housing the U.S.-led coalition headquarters. A U.S. military official said there had been an attack and it was under investigation. There were no casualties.

It was unclear whether insurgents were timing attacks to overshadow the anniversary of the March 20, 2003, start of the war that toppled Saddam, though assailants have often conducted attacks on holidays and other significant dates.

The aim of anti-U.S. forces appears to be to demonstrate that Iraq is ungovernable despite some American progress in its nation-building effort, including the formation of an Iraqi police force, the signing of an interim constitution and plans to hand over power to Iraqis on June 30.

«We were fighting them knowing full well the better we did the harder it would get», said Maj. Gen. Martin Dempsey, commander of the U.S. Army's 1st Armored Division, which oversees security in Baghdad. He said the fight in Iraq was evolving into a battle against shadowy extremists who attack civilians rather than soldiers.

«It is far easier to fight an enemy who fights you conventionally and who fights you in some similar fashion to the way you fight him, than it is to fight an enemy who uses the tools of terror», he said.

A man suspected of involvement in the Basra bombing who left the vehicle shortly before the blast was caught by passers-by and stabbed to death, said police Lt. Col. Ali Kazem. Two others spotted getting out of the vehicle were caught by members of the public and later arrested.

At least 15 people were wounded, three seriously, hospital officials said. No British soldiers were wounded.

Unlike other areas of Iraq, Basra has been relatively calm.

Insurgents also fired mortar rounds at two U.S. military bases on Wednesday, killing three American soldiers and wounding nine others, the U.S. military said Thursday. The deaths brought to 567 the number of U.S. troops killed in Iraq since the start of hostilities last year, according to Defense Department figures.

Brig. Gen. Mark Kimmitt said 35 people were wounded in Wednesday's car bombing, which destroyed the Mount Lebanon Hotel in Baghdad. Scott Mounce, 29, of Scotland was killed and another Briton was wounded, the British government said.

U.S. Army Col. Jill Morgenthaler said the attack was a suicide bombing but said the hotel may not have been the intended target because the explosives-laden vehicle was in the middle of the street and not in front of the hotel.

The hotel is in a busy district of commercial and residential buildings. The explosion set ablaze nearby homes, offices, cars and shops, sending dazed and wounded people stumbling from the wreckage.

Dempsey said if the hotel was the target, the attack bore a closer resemblance to targets of Ansar al-Islam, an extremist group with apparent links to al-Qaida.

The network of al-Qaida-linked Jordanian Islamic militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi usually attacks Iraqi targets -- Shiite pilgrims or Iraqi police -- with an aim to sowing discord and perhaps civil war.

An unidentified Jordanian suspected of having links with al-Zarqawi was arrested recently on the outskirts of Baghdad, Dempsey said. The detainee was caught with a bomb.

The Mount Lebanon was a so-called 'soft target' because it did not have concrete blast barriers and other security measures that protect coalition offices and buildings where Westerners live and work.

In the restive town of Fallujah on Thursday, insurgents with AK-47 rifles and rocket-propelled grenades clashed with U.S. troops guarding a government building. One civilian died and another was wounded, witnesses said. The U.S. military said eight U.S. soldiers and a Marine were wounded when a mortar round hit a roof.

The U.S. soldiers opened fire on aid convoys taking relief supplies to Fallujah, sealed off by occupation forces for the fourth consecutive day, eyewitnesses said. The convoys, carrying foodstuffs and medicine, were forced to stop in Ramadi to the west of Baghdad, eyewitnesses told IslamOnline.net.

Troops in armored vehicles attempted to stop the convoy of cars and pedestrians from reaching the western town where U.S. marines have met ferocious resistance in a two-day-old offensive.

But the U.S. contingents were overwhelmed as residents of villages west of the capital came to the convoy's assistance, hurling insults and stones at the beleaguered troops, Agence France-Presse (AFP).

Two U.S. Humvees attempted to stop the marchers but were forced to drive off as residents joined the marchers.

U.S. troops armed with machine guns and backed up by armor again blocked the highway further west, but were forced to let the Iraqis past as they came under a hail of stones.

The cross-community demonstration of support for Fallujah had been organized by Baghdad Sunni and Shiite scholars amid reports that the death toll in the town had reached 105 since Tuesday evening.

“No Sunnis, no Shiites, yes for Islamic unity,” the marchers chanted. “We are Sunni and Shiite brothers and will never sell our country”.

Sunni mosques in Baghdad called for donations of blood and humanitarian aid to the Fallujah inhabitants, drawing response form thousands of people – all sharing fury over continued U.S. military occupation of the country.

The incident came one day after International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) urged U.S. troops to allow unfettered access to the city's hospital.

“Access to (Fallujah's) general hospital must be open and the wounded and the sick must be helped to reach it,” ICRC spokeswoman Nada Dumani was quoted by Agence France-Presse (AFP) as saying.

The only hospital in the city was shelled Monday, April 5, by U.S. helicopters. Doctors said the situation is extremely serious as some of the injured have bled to death.

Iraqi casualties were “mostly women and children”, as the makeshift hospital could not receive any more victims, medical sources in the town said.

“We are treating the wounded and then asking them to leave,” one doctor said.

    F16s Continue To Shell Fallujah

F16 helicopters shelled the densely-populated areas of the town on Wednesday, leaving 45 inhabitants dead and 65 others injured for one day.

Corpses littered the streets of Fallujah on Thursday, as the U.S. marines met ferocious resistance in the town which their commander compared to the Vietnam war.

Flies buzzed on the lips of the corpse of a 40-year-old Iraqi with a mustache and receding black hairline. Marines shot him in the neck when he allegedly fired a rocket-propelled grenade at them across the industrial wasteland of garages, factories and metal shops.

Turbulence continued in other areas in the conflictive country, as U.S. forces kept their raids.

The ghastly raids on Fallujah came as at least 40 Iraqis were killed and dozens others injured in a separate U.S. military attacks on Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad.

Eight Iraqis were killed and 12 others injured Wednesday by the U.S. forces during a demonstration west of the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk to protest the siege on Fallujah.

    Continued Fighting

In the meantime, the U.S. F16s are reported to keep shelling Fallujah, leaving several casualties.

Shiite leader Moqtada Sadr's militia also vowed to resume combat against occupation troops.

“We had given orders for calm because we are peaceful people, and there were negotiations to calm the situation,” said Amer al-Husseini, a spokesman for Sadr in Baghdad's Shiite city of Sadr City.

“But after they bombarded our headquarters and prayer room with Apache helicopters and tanks, we are ready to resume combat until the last drop of our blood,” he told reporters.

The U.S. forces admitted one Marine was killed in fighting in Fallujah on Thursday, bringing the death toll of Marine casualties from this week's clashes in the town to four. There were no immediate details on how the soldier was killed.

A total of 10 Marines are known to have been wounded since they launched a siege of Fallujah early Monday. The Marines have not given a full casualty count.

Sadr's militia said Thursday it was holding Spanish prisoners and possibly an American, but Spanish officials quickly denied any of their troops had been seized.

There was no immediate U.S. reaction to the claim by Sadr's militia, who said they planned to swap the hostages for one of their Najaf-based leaders, Mustafa al-Yaacubi, detained by U.S, forces Saturday 4.

The militia threatened to up the ante with an ultimatum Thursday to occupation forces to quit the holy city of Karbala where a major religious celebration was scheduled this weekend.

    Attack

A U.S. convoy of two vehicles was seen in flames about 20km west of Baghdad on Thursday morning. The U.S military has not confirmed the incident, which came hours after U.S. troops fought intense street battles in the capital.

Militiamen loyal to Sadr are said to be taking control of the city of Karbala. They also patrol the holy cities of Kut and Najaf.

U.S. Secretary of State Donald Rumsfeld said his troops would stay away from the holy Shiite city of Najaf.

He said U.S.-led forces had decided to stay away from Najaf because of an upcoming Muslim pilgrimage to the city and because of Sadr's militia forces.

Shiite scholars have warned the U.S. troops of acting “irrationally” after up to 52 Iraqi protesters were killed on Sunday, April 4, in the worst confrontations between Iraq’s Shiite majority and the U.S.-led occupation troops sine the start of the invasion one year ago.

The protesters were denouncing the crushing of two fellowmen by a U.S. tank on Saturday, April 3, the arrest of Sadr’s top assistant Sheikh Al-Yaqoubi and a ban on Al-Hawza newspaper, Sadr’s mouthpiece

Reuters reported that Bulgaria has asked the US and its allies to send troops to reinforce Sofia's 450-strong battalion in the southern Iraqi city of Kerbala, where occupation soldiers are facing a radical Shi'ite uprising.

Bulgarian chief of staff Nikola Kolev said the Bulgarian military base had come under heavy machinegun fire last night but there were no casualties.

Deputy Foreign Minister Ivan Petkov called ambassadors of the United States, Britain, Spain and Poland to the foreign ministry today asking for back-up for Bulgarian soldiers in Iraq.

«Bulgaria has demanded additional US support for our contingent in Kerbala», Petkov told reporters after the meeting.

Ukrainian troops retreated from the town El-Kut in Iraq and regrouped their forces. Ukrainian Minister of Defense said that this decision was made because of more frequent attacks by the Iraqi militants.

Representatives of American provisional authorities asked the Ukrainians to retreat to save the soldiers lives and evacuate the provisional administration personnel.

Reuters reported that the Ukrainian troops in El-Kut are expected to join the main group of Ukrainian forces in Iraq.

Battles in Iraq have become fiercer since last Sunday, when the Shiites stirred up a virtual rebellion against the American invasion. US and its allies have to be fighting the battles in several large cities all at the same time. Entire regions of the country are now engulfed with the rebellion. Troops of the anti-Iraqi coalition are resorting to punitive tactics by bombing residential neighborhoods and mosques.

In Fallujah a Cobra helicopter gunship fired a Hell Fire missile at the mosque and then an aircraft dropped a laser-guided precision bomb. Witnesses said the strike came as worshippers had gathered for afternoon prayers. An Associated Press reporter saw cars ferrying the dead and wounded from the mosque. Temporary hospitals were set up in private homes to treat the wounded and prepare the dead for burial.

Meanwhile Reuters reported that followers of radical Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr captured several soldiers of the US/British military coalition. This statement made by Shiites was reported by Lebanese TV Al-Manar. The nationalities of the captives were not reported. So far the Pentagon has not made any comments on this statement.

A US helicopter crashed in the town of Baqouba in Central Iraq. SkyNews reported that the helicopter fell and caught fire. No casualties have been reported. Earlier Al-Arabia TV Channel reported that a US helicopter was shot down near the city of Fallujah.

Later on Reuters reported referring to the US command that an OH-58 Kiowa chopper came under attack in Baqouba. Other reports say that two US helicopters were shot down Wednesday.

The most recent reports say that the troops of the US and its allies have lost over 50 soldiers in the battles with insurgents. About 30 commandos were wounded. These figures are far from being complete because battles in many cities of Iraq are still continuing. Now the US has to fight the war at two fronts: in the west against the Sunnis and in the south of the country against the rebelled Shiites.

On Tuesday in the city of Ramadi, part of the so-called Sunni Triangle, which is 110 kilometers west of Baghdad, Iraqi resistance fighters conducted a large-scale operation against the US forces, where 13 marines were killed and 30 wounded. This report was also confirmed by the Pentagon. A Defense Department official said that the US lost 13 men and two dozens were wounded in the Governor’s Palace in Ramadi.

The US command mentioned that the recent attack was well-planned. The US positions were attacked near the Governor’s Palace in Al-Anbar Province. A Pentagon official said that the attack was carried out by 60-70 trained Iraqis armed with grenade-launchers and automatic weapons.

Qatari TV channel Al-Jazeera reported that 35 Iraqi fighters were killed and 60 wounded in these battles.

Yesterday it was reported that at least four US servicemen were killed during the previous attacks by Sunnis in Ramadi.

Arab sources reported that 30 coalition soldiers were killed and two US helicopters shot down in the city of Falujah, another center of the Sunni resistance.

BAGHDAD, Iraq - The top U.S. administrator in Iraq declared a radical Shiite cleric an "outlaw" Monday after his supporters rioted in Baghdad and four other cities in fighting that killed at least 52 Iraqis, eight U.S. troops and a Salvadoran soldier.

The fiercest battle took place Sunday in the streets of Sadr City, Baghdad's largest Shiite neighborhood, where black-garbed Shiite militiamen fired from rooftops and behind buildings at U.S. troops, killing the eight Americans. At least 30 Iraqis were killed and more than 110 wounded in the fighting, doctors said.

Violence broke out Monday morning in another Shiite neighborhood of the capital, al-Shula, where followers of the cleric clashed with a U.S. patrol. An American armored vehicle was seen burning, and an Iraqi man was seen running off with a heavy machine gun apparently taken from the vehicle. A U.S. helicopter hovered overhead. There were no immediate reports of injuries.

Meanwhile, U.S. troops on Monday sealed off Fallujah ahead of a major operation code named "Vigilant Resolve," aimed at pacifying the city, one of the most violent cities in the Sunni Triangle, the heartland of the insurgency against the American occupation.

U.S. commanders have been vowing a massive response after insurgents killed four American security contractors in the city, west of Baghdad, on Wednesday. Residents dragged the Americans' bodies through the streets, hanging two of their charred corpses from a bridge, in horrifying scenes that showed the depth of anti-U.S. sentiment in the city.

Some 1,200 Marines and two battalions of Iraqi security forces were poised to enter the city in a raid to capture suspected insurgents, officials said. They would not say when the sweep would begin.

A Marine was killed Monday in Anbar province, where Fallujah is located, the military said, without providing further details. On Sunday, a suicide attacker detonated a bomb-laden vehicle as he tried to enter a U.S. base in the northern city of Kirkuk, killing one U.S. soldier and wounding six Americans and six Iraqis, the military said. A roadside bomb killed a U.S. soldier in the city of Mosul.

The violence pushed the U.S. death toll in Iraq to at least 613.

The insurgency that has plagued U.S. troops in Iraq for months has been led by Sunni Muslims. But Sunday's clashes in Baghdad and three other cities threatened to open a dangerous new front: a confrontation with Iraq's powerful Shiite Muslim majority, which has until now largely avoided violence with the Americans.

Hundreds were wounded in Sunday's violence in Baghdad, Najaf, Nasiriyah and Amarah. The riots were ignited by the arrest of an aide to anti-American cleric Muqtada al-Sadr. Followers of al-Sadr also took over the offices of the governor in the southern city of Basra.

In response, L. Paul Bremer, the top U.S. administrator in Iraq, declared al-Sadr an "outlaw" who threatens Iraq's security.

"Effectively he is attempting to establish his authority in the place of the legitimate authority. We will not tolerate this. We will reassert the law and order which the Iraqi people expect," Bremer told a security team meeting convened to discuss how to respond to Sadr.

Bremer did not say if U.S. authorities would move to arrest al-Sadr, but the declaration stepped up the confrontation with the 30-year-old firebrand cleric, who fiercely opposes the U.S. occupation and is backed by a militia known as the "Al-Mahdi Army."

"There is no room for militias in the new Iraq. ... If there are militias that seek to exert control, we will address that head on. And that is clearly what we are doing right now," a senior U.S. official said Monday.

Al-Sadr does not hold widespread support among Iraq's Shiites, many of whom see him as too young, radical and inexperienced to lead. But he does have the backing of hundreds of young seminary students and many impoverished Shiites, devoted to him because of his anti-U.S. stance and the memory of his father, a Shiite religious leader gunned down by suspected Saddam agents in 1999.

Al-Sadr has demanded an immediate U.S. withdrawal from Iraq, and his followers have protested against U.S.-backed local officials in several towns in the south in previous months. But the cleric's political program has often been unclear.

The violence Sunday was a sign of al-Sadr's strength.

The U.S. troops moved into Baghdad's Sadr City — named after Muqtada's father — after militiamen ambushed a U.S. patrol in the neighborhood, said Maj. Gen. Martin Dempsey, commander of the Army's 1st Armored Division.

More troops streamed into the neighborhood — up to 1,000 at one point — fighting sporadic gunbattles with more than 500 militiamen, Dempsey said. The fighting ended after a column of tanks moved in.

During the fighting, police evacuated three stations to regroup in a single station, and Mahdi Army militiamen seized the abandoned sites, U.S. officials said.

Al-Chawadir hospital, one of two hospitals in Sadr City, received 28 dead Iraqis and 90 wounded from the fighting, said a doctor, Qassim Saddam. Another hospital reported two dead and 21 wounded.

Monday morning, U.S. tanks were parked in one of the neighborhood's main markets. Many stalls in the market were burned out, and buildings were pockmarked with bullet holes.

During a street protest by some 5,000 people Sunday near the Shiite holy city of Najaf, al-Sadr supporters opened fire on the base of Spanish troops, sparking a battle that lasted several hours.

A Salvadoran soldier was killed died and at least nine other soldiers were wounded, the Spanish Defense Ministry said. The U.S. military denied a report that an American soldier was killed. Twenty-two Iraqis died and more than 200 were wounded, said Falah Mohammed, director of the Najaf health department.

Al-Sadr issued a statement later Sunday calling off street protests, but he also called on followers to "do what you see fit in your provinces. Strike terror in the heart of your enemy ... We can no longer be silent in the face of their abuses."

Some of al-Sadr's followers in Baghdad said they interpreted this as a call for armed resistance against U.S. forces.

The violence was touched off by the arrest of Mustafa al-Yacoubi, a senior aide to al-Sadr, on charges of murdering Abdel-Majid al-Khoei, a rival Shiite cleric. A total of 25 arrest warrants have been issued in the case, and 13 suspects have been taken into custody, an official at the coalition headquarters said.

Al-Sadr supporters also were angered by the March 28 closure of his weekly newspaper by U.S. officials. The Americans alleged the newspaper was inciting violence against coalition troops.

In other developments Monday, U.N. envoy Lakhdar Brahimi met with members of Iraq's Governing Council on Monday as he launched a mission to help in the transition to an interim government after sovereignty is handed back to Iraqis on June 30.

Japan's Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi is not contemplating troops withdrawal from Iraq despite the kidnapping of three Japanese civilians.

Asked whether he was considering withdrawing troops from Iraq, Koizumi on Friday said "No."

He said the most important thing was to ensure the safety of the three kidnapped Japanese and for them to be rescued.

A previously unknown Iraqi group abducted three Japanese citizens and vowed to "burn them alive" if Japanese troops did not leave Iraq within three days.

A chilling video of the hostages with heavily armed members of the group in the background was broadcast by Aljazeera.

Japan has about 550 ground troops in southern Iraq on a non-combat mission to help rebuild the county.

A sizeable majority of Japanese opposed the deployment and the hostage-crisis is a serious test for the Koizumi government

3 Japanese Held In Iraq, Korean Pastors Freed

    Two of the three Japanese

BAGHDAD, April 8 (IslamOnline.net & News Agencies) – Some Iraqi fighters, holding three Japanese nationals, asked the Tokyo government Thursday, April 8, to pull out its forces from occupied Iraq.

The previously unknown group, calling itself the "Mujahedeen Brigades", threatened to kill the three Japanese unless its demand was met, giving the Japanese government three days to respond.

The Qatar-based Aljazeera television aired soundless video of the trio and their passports.

The three, including a woman, appeared blindfolded in parts of the video, while other shots clearly showed their faces and the rest of their bodies.

Close-up shots of the passports revealed their pictures, names and other details.

The footage showed one of them was a correspondent with a work permission card written in Arabic.

Japan insisted Thursday it has no plan to withdraw its troops from Iraq despite the threats, reported Agence France-Presse (AFP).

"Since our Self-Defense Forces are providing reconstruction support for Iraqi people, we have no reason for withdrawal," Chief Cabinet Secretary Yasuo Fukuda told a news conference.

Japan has about 530 ground troops based in Samawah, part of a total planned deployment of 1,100 soldiers for a mission in Iraq to purify water and carry out other reconstruction tasks.

Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi has been one of the strongest backers of the U.S.-led invasion and occupation of Iraq.

    Two With Israeli IDs Held

An Israeli Arab and an Arab resident of occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem) are being held in Iraq by a militia group called Ansar al-Din, Israeli media reported Thursday.

Israeli public television broadcast footage taken from a tape first shown on the Iranian Arabic-language television station Al Alam.

It showed an Israeli medical card, a discount card for an Israeli supermarket, a U.S. driving license and an outdated student card.

A spokesman for the group told Al-Alam channel that the two will not be released unless all prisoners and detainees held by U.S. occupation forces in Iraq, including women, are freed.

A clip from the tape showed the two answering questions from the Iraqi fighters.

"Nabil George Yaakub Razzuq from Israel. I work for RTI (Research Triangle Institute -- a U.S. think-tank which has a contract from USAID to provide local governance support in Iraq)," said one in Arabic, giving his age as 30.

"Ahmed Yassin Tikati. I work for Israel and for the international aid agency," said the second, also in Arabic, giving his age as 33.

Separately, Sadr's Mehdi Army said it was holding Spanish hostages and possibly an American.

Spanish officials denied the report, and U.S. officials said they were not aware of any coalition troops missing.

Sadr's militia said it planned to swap them for one of its leaders, Mustafa al-Yaacubi, arrested earlier this week by the U.S.-led occupation forces.

    Korean Pastors Freed

Seven South Korean missionaries held by armed Iraqis on Thursday, April 8, were freed unharmed after several hours, the Foreign Ministry confirmed.

"The seven were been freed and arrived at a Baghdad hotel," ministry spokesman Shin Bong-Kil said.

Eight South Koreans pastors were held by unidentified Iraqi fighters but a female, identified as Kim Sang-Mi from an association of Christian churches in South Korea, had fled.

According to Yonhap news agency the group of pastors traveled to Iraq in order to attend a Christian missionary event scheduled for the northern city of Mosul from Friday through Sunday.

The country insisted that its plans to dispatch more than 3,000 South Korean troops would be unaffected by the recent development.

    Resignation

Interim Iraqi interior minister Nuri Badran said Thursday he has submitted his resignation after U.S. overseer Paul Bremer expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of his ministry.

"I am resigning now," said Badran in a press conference.

"Bremer is not satisfied with the performance of the interior ministry," added Badran, who said Bremer had also told him there was a need for a reshuffle because of confessional balances.

Badran, born in 1943, is a Shiite Muslim who once served in the government of ousted president Saddam Hussein as ambassador to Russia and who fled Iraq when it invaded Kuwait in 1990.

    Talks under way with al-Sadr

    Thursday 08 April 2004, 20:09 Makka Time, 17:09 GMT

Iraqis celebrate as a US convoy burns in Abu Ghuraib

Talks are under way with Shia leader Muqtada al-Sadr, whose militiamen and supporters have taken up arms against occupation forces in Iraq.

Adnan Pachachi, a member of the US-appointed Iraqi Governing Council (IGC) told Aljazeera on Thursday they are discussing ways to end the rebellion.

"We pledge to respect his honor and his security," said Pachachi.

Al-Sadr's loyalists and members of his militia, the al-Mahdi Army, started an uprising against occupation forces on Sunday after Spanish forces opened fire on demonstrators in the southern city of Najaf, killing at least 20.

They were protesting the occupation's detention of al-Sadr aide Mustafa Yacubi and the closure of a pro-al-Sadr publication.

Since then more than 300 Iraqis and 33 US soldiers have been killed in fighting across Najaf, Karbala, Kut, Amara, Falluja, Ramadi, Baquba, Baghdad and Kirkuk.

US tanks and helicopters are reported to have attacked al-Sadr's office at dawn on Thursday in the Baghdad suburb of al-Sadr City.

Residents say tanks first opened fire on the office and then helicopters fired two rockets on it, reducing it to rubble. No one was hurt in the attack as there was no one inside the office at time of attack.

US occupation forces vowed on Wednesday to "destroy" the al-Mahdi army.

    Retaliation

Al-Sadr’s office issued fresh vows to continue fighting the occupation following the attack on the office.

    Al-Sadr's militia has proven to
    be a potent force

"We had given orders for calm because we are peaceful people, and there were negotiations to calm the situation," said Amr al-Husseini, a spokesman for al-Sadr.

"But after they bombarded our headquarters and prayer room with Apache helicopters and tanks, we are ready to resume combat until the last drop of our blood," he told reporters.

Al-Sadr is reported to have taken refugee in a mosque in Najaf or the nearby town of Kufa.

Al-Husseini also told Aljazeera that al-Mahdi militiamen were holding some Spanish troops hostage, a report the Spaniards categorically denied.

A US army general also denied reports of occupation forces being held captive in Najaf.

    Karbala fighting

In Karbala, al-Sadr supporters issued an ultimatum on Thursday to occupation forces to withdraw from the holy city where a major religious commemoration is scheduled this weekend.

Polish troops are meeting with clerics in Karbala in an effort to ease tensions, said Polish army officials. However, they denied meeting al-Sadr representatives after the Shia cleric's supporters said they were negotiating with occupation officials.

Polish and Bulgarian troops battled al-Mahdi militiamen in Karbala overnight, leaving at least four Iraqis killed. There were no reports of casualties among occupation forces.

    Thirty-three US soldiers have died
    since Sunday

The United States rushed reinforcements to help Bulgarian troops in Karbala to deal with the escalating conflict there, said Bulgarian Foreign Minister Solomon Passi.

Lieutenant General Ricardo Sanchez admitted that Najaf and Kut were no longer under the occupation's control.

On Wednesday, Ukrainian occupation forces were forced to withdraw from the southern city of Kut after fierce fighting with militiamen.

Ten Iraqis were killed and 20 wounded in clashes on Wednesday in Najaf between occupation forces and al-Sadr supporters, reported hospital sources on Thursday.

Witnesses in Najaf, 160km south of Baghdad, reported fighting on Wednesday between al-Sadr supporters and Spanish and Ecuadoran forces in three neighbourhoods and the road leading north to Karbala.

Members of the al-Mahdi Army militia opened fire with rocket-propelled grenades and automatic weapons on Polish and Bulgarian soldiers protecting the governor's office, a Polish military spokesman said.

    Japanese under fire

In Abu Ghuraib, five US military vehicles came under attack, leaving them blazing on Thursday but there were no reports of casualties.

Elsewhere, explosions were heard near a camp in southern Iraq where Japanese troops are based, but there were no reports of injuries among Japanese military personnel and nothing had landed in the grounds, said a Defence Ministry spokesman in Tokyo.

He said checks were being made into the explosions, which occurred during Wednesday night, but no further information was available.

Troops at the camp had sheltered in trenches within the grounds as a precaution.

Meanwhile, US troops killed an Iraqi policeman on Wednesday evening after soldiers opened fire randomly when they came under attack in Tikrit, some 160km north of Baghdad

Lightbulb Iraku u sulmua pėr tu mbrojtė Izraeli

Iraku u sulmua pėr tu mbrojtė Izraeli

Iraku nėn udhėheqjen e Saddam Husseinit nuk paraqiste rrezik pėr SHBA-tė por pėr Izraelin, qė ėshtė njė shkak qė Washingtoni sulmoi shtetin arab, thuhet nė njė fjalim tė bėrė nga njė anėtar i njė grupi tė kundėrzbulimit tė shkallės sė lartė tė Shtėpisė sė Bardhė

Inter Press Service (IPS) zbuloi kėto thekse nga Philip Zelikow, qė tani ėshtė drejtor ekzekutiv i grupit qė ėshtė themeluar pėr tė hulumtuar sulmet e 11 shtatorit 2001 nė SHBA – komisionit tė 11 shtatorit – nė tė cilėn ai thotė se motivi kryesor pėr invazionin para njė viti ishte tė eliminohet rreziku pėr Izraelin, aleatin kryesor amerikan nė Lindjen e Mesme.

Deklarimi i Zelikowit se invazioni nė Irak ėshtė lansuar pėr tė mbrojtur Izraelin duket kundėrshtim i pozicionit publik tė presidentit amerikan George Bush dhe administratės sė tij, qė asnjėherė nuk ka bėrė ndonjė lidhje ndėrmjet luftės kundėr regjimit tė Saddam Husseinit dhe brengėn pėr sigurinė izraelite.

Administrata nė vend tė kėsaj ka insistuar se ka lansuar luftėn pėr tė ēliruar popullin irakian, pėr tė shkatėrruar armėt irakiane pėr shkatėrrim masiv dhe pėr tė mbrojtur SHBA-tė.

Zelikow ka bėrė deklaratėn e tij rreth “kėrcėnimit tė papėrmendur” gjatė pozitės sė tij nė grupin e mirėinformuar dhe tė mirė-lidhur tė njohur si Bordi i Kėshilltarėve tė Presidentit pėr Kundėrzbulim tė Jashtėm (PFIAB) qė drejt pėr sė drejti i raporton presidentit.

Ai i shėrbeu bordit ndėrmjet viteve 2001-2003.

“Pse Iraku do ta sulmonte Amerikėn ose do tė pėrdorte armatim bėrthamor kundėr neve?

Izraeli ėshtė aleati mė i madh amerikan nė Lindjen e Mesme dhe ai pranon ndihmė vjetore tė drejt pėr drejtė prej 3-4 miliardė dollarėve amerikanė.

As Scowcroft, e as Zelikow nuk janė pėrgjigjur nė thirrjet telefonike dhe nė e-mail porositė nga IPS pėr kėtė raport.

Zelikow ka lidhje tė vjetra me Administratėn e Bushit. Para caktimit tė tij nė PFIAB nė tetor tė vitit 2001, ai ishte pjesė e ekipt presidencial pėr tranzicion nė janar tė vitit 2001.

Nė atė kapacitet, Zelikow formuloi njė memorandum pėr kėshilltaren pėr Siguri Nacionale Condoleezza Rice pėr ri-organizimin dhe ri-strukturimin e Kėshillit pėr Siguri Nacionale.

Richard A. Clarke, qė ishte koordinator kundėr-terrorizmi pėr paraardhėsin e Bushit, presidentin Bill Clinton (1993-2001) qė poashtu ka punuar edhe pėr Bushin e parė, paradokohe ka akuzuar administratėn aktuale pėr mosmarrjen parasysh tė paralajmėrimeve terroriste, ka thėnė Zelikow qė ishte njė nga ata qė kanė paralajmėruar pėr njė rrezik urgjent nga Al-Qaeda nė dhjetor tė vitit 2000.

Vetė Rice ka shėrbyer nė Kėshillin pėr Siguri Nacionale gajtė administratės sė Bushit tė parė, dhe vazhdimisht iu ka bashkangjitur Zelikoqit rreth pėrpilimit tė librit tė botuar nė vitin 1995 rreth ribashkimit tė Gjermanive.

Zelikov ka pasur lidhje edhe me njė zyrtar tjetėr tė lartė tė Administratės sė Bushit – Robert Zoellick, pėrfaqėsues aktual i tregtisė. Kėta tė dy kanė shkruar tri libra sė bashku, duke pėrfshirė edhe atė nė vitin 1998 rreth SHBA-ve dhe “Muslim Middle East” (Lindja e Mesme muslimane)

Pėrveē pozitės nė komisionin e 11 shtatorit, Zelikow tani ėshtė poashtu edhe drejtor i Qendrės Miller pėr Marrėdhėnie Publike dhe profesor i historisė nė Universitetin Virginia.

Lidhjet e ngushta me administratėn shkaktuan akuza tė konfiktit tė interesit nė vitin 2002 nga familjet e viktimave tė sulmeve tė 11 shtatorit, tė cilėt protestonin caktimin e tij pėr pozitė nė grupin hulumtues.

Analistėt qė i vėzhguan deklarimet e Zelikowit kanė thėnė se ato janė dėshmi konkrete pėr njė faktor nė racionalen e fillimit tė luftės, qė ėshtė mbajtur nė heshtje.

“Ne qė kemi folur pėr tė, nė njėfar mėnyre nė i referoheshim mbrojtjes sė Izraelit si komponentė”, ka thėnė Phyllis Bennis nga Instituti pėr Studime Politike me seli nė Washington. “Por kjo ėshtė njė pjesė shumė e mirė e dėshmisė pėr tė”.

Tė tjerėt thonė se administrata duhet tė akuzohet (fajėsohet) pėr mos bėrjen publikė tė qėllimeve tė vėrteta tė saja dhe motiveve tė vėrteta tė invazionit nė Irak.

“Ata (administrata) vendosėn tė sulmojnė Irakun, dhe pastaj filluan tė kėrkojnė njė politikė pėr ta arsyetuar atė. Ajo ishte njė vendim nė kėrkim tė politikės dhe pėr shkak tė mėnyrės nėpėr tė cilėn kaluan, njerėzit janė duke u pėrpjekur tė lexojnė diēka nė tė”, ka thėnė Nathan Brown, profesor i shkencave politike nė Universitetin George Washington dhe ekspert pėr Lindjen e Mesme.

Mirėpo ai nuk i dha rėndėsi lidhjes izraelite. “Sa i pėrket sigurimit tė Izraelit, pėr mua nuk ka kuptim, pėr shkak se izraelitėt ndoshta janė mė tė brengosur pėr Iranin se sa ishin pėr Irakun nė aspektin e kėrcėnimit strategjik afatgjatė”, ka thėnė ai. Mirėpo, Brown ka thėnė se fjalėt e Zelikowit kishin peshė.

“Pa dyshim pozita e tij do t’i lejonte tė flet me njė ekspertizė mė tė madhe rreth mendimit tė Administratės sė Bushit, por nuk habitem qė ai ėshtė pak mė autoritativ se Wolfowitzi, ose Rice, Powell, ose kushdo tjetėr. Tė gjithė ata nė njėfar mėnyre ishin duke peshkuar pėr njė arsyetim tė vendimit qė tani mė ishte bėrė”, ka thėnė Brown.

    Lightbulb Per ngjarjet ne irak

    Falluxha.doc

Forcat e koalicionit tani shkaktuan kėtė rezistencė nė Falluxha ndaj tyre me budallallėkun e tyre dhe moskokėqarjen e konsideratave mė themelore humanitare.

Megjithatė pa asnjė lloj legjitimiteti a do tė jetė e aftė tė bėjė tė njėtėn gjė kundėr masave muslimane.

Fjala “falluxha” nė arabisht do tė thotė vend qė ėshtė i mirė pėr punim. Tani njė qėndrim heroik ėshtė duke rritur atje njė bereqet historik dhe tė ndershėm.

Nė mėnyrė alternative “faluxha” do tė thotė njė pėrshkim dhe njė fitore.

Pėrsa i pėrket irakenėve ata janė njerėz tė vendosur qė ne presim qė do tė pėrballojnė plagėt e tyre me fuqi. Ata duhet tė punojnė pėr tė siguruar bashkimin e tyre dhe pėr tė shmangur konfliktin midis njėri-tjetrit.

Ne kėrkojmė prej Allahut – qė pėrveē Tij nuk ka zot tjetėr – Krijuesit tė qiejve dhe tokės pėr t’i mbrojtur irakenėt dhe pėr t’i dhėnė atyre fitore.

A ka kush e qanė Feluxhėn?!

Feluxha ėshtė nė shtetrrethim, i rrėnohen spitalet, i shkatėrrohen xhamitė, vriten gratė dhe fėmijėt, tėrė kjo ndodh para syve tė mbarė botės, mirėpo askush nuk mundet as tė flet, as tė denoncon, as tė kundėrshton kėtė. Edhe ata qė kanė pasur shpresa nė kombet e bashkuara, edhe ata i kanė humbur kėto shpresa kur, tė mėrkurėn, 17, sefer, 1425, ose 07, prill, 2004, kur sekretari i pėrgjithshėm doli qė tė flet pėr konfliktin nė Sudan, kjo tregoi qartė se lufta nė botė ėshtė selektive. Ai kėrkonte nga faktorėt relevant ndėrkombėtar qė tė ndėrhyjnė ushtarakisht pėr Darfordin, mirėpo nuk pati mundėsi ta thotė as njė fjalė pėr ndodhitė e Feluxhės heroike!

Pasha All-llahun, kjo ėshtė turp pėr tėrė botėn, e cila nuk ka mundėsi qė zullumqarit t'i thotė: "ti je zullumqar".

Unė do tė pėrmendi nė vijim disa gjėra qė kanė tė bėjnė me ndodhitė e fundit tė Feluxhės heroike:

Dy: e kemi obligim t'i mbėshtetim publikisht vėllezėrit tanė nė Feluxha, me pasuri, armė, lutje, barėra, pėrhapje tė lajmeve tė tyre dhe mbulimi i ndodhive atje nė mėnyrė tė realtė nė tė gjitha mjetet e medias.

Amin.

Vallė do humbė Iraku midis pėshpėritjes sė dijetarėve dhe heshtjes sė kryetarėve?

Biseda e kėtij shejhut mė shtyri tė bėhem optimist, ndoshta ky rol sėrish i kthehet dijetarėve tanė e tė fillojnė ta luajnė rolin e tyre fuqishėm, pasiqė ata janė njė pjesė e kėsaj bote, madje pjesa mė e rėndėsishme nė te.

Shejh Selman el-Avde, pati sukses, sipas mendimit tim, kur i thirri muslimanėt e Amerikės qė mos ta votojnė Xhorxh Bushin, pasi qė qėndrimet e tija janė kundėr arabėve dhe muslimanėve. Kjo thirrje pa marė parasysh a do t’i jep frytet e veta ose jo, do tė mbetet njė sinjal i fuqishėm drejt asaj qė duhet ta bėjė muslimani pėrballė armikut, madje edhe vetėm me refuzimin e asaj qė e beson si tė kotė dhe bojkoti i saj nė tė gjitha format, pasi qė kjo ėshtė ajo qė mė sė paku mund ta bėjmė nė kėto raste. Njė grumbull i dijetarėve nė vendet islame publikuan qėndrimet e tyre, nė mėnyrė individuale ose kolektive dhe kėrkuan nga qeveritarėt qė tė lėvizin pėr ti shpėtuar irakienėt nga vrasja, shtetrethimi, shkatėrrimi dhe folėn pėr qėndrimet turpėruese tė amerikanėve nė vendet arabe dhe islame, mirėpo tė gjitha kėto fjalė tė cilat i dėgjuam, janė nėn nivelin e kėrkuar, pėr njė shkak shumė tė thjeshtė: nuk kanė ndikuar sa duhet, aq sa ti bėjė qeveritarėt ose njė pjesė tė popullit arab tė lėviz fuqishėm pėr ta realizuar detyrėn e vet nė kėto ndodhi.

Ndoshta shkaku i tėrė kėsaj ėshtė se ata dijetarė qė kanė folur konsiderohen pakicė nė mesin e atyreve qė e quajtėn vehten dijetarė nė botėn tonė islame, sepse shumica e tyre akoma nė heshtje i pėrcjell ndodhitė, sikurse nuk kanė tė bėjnė me te. Kur okupohen tokat e muslimanėve, kur okupatori i vret muslimanėt, ua shkatėrron vendin, kur ky okupator u kėrcėnohet edhe shteteve tjera arabe, qėndrimi i dijetarėve duhet tė jetė nė nivelin e ndodhisė. Kisha dėshirė tė kisha dėgjuar prej kėtyre dijetarėve thirrje tė qartė drejtuar popullit qė tė qėndrojnė me vėllezėrit e tyre me sa forcė qė kanė, tu ofrojnė ēdo gjė, duke i unifikuar tė gjitha qėndrimet.

A nuk i shtyn kjo t’i afrohen popullit tė tyre? Interesi ėshtė tani qė tu ndihmojmė kėtyre luftarėve irakianė, sepse vetėm ata janė ata qė do ti shtyjnė amerikanėt tė mendojnė gjatė para se ta sulmojnė njė vend tjetėr arab.

Heshtja tė cilėn e zbatojnė disa qeveritarė nuk do tu bėjė dobi gjatė kohė.

A bėn sionizmi diēka tjetėr nė Palestinė?!

Gazeta qė i kritikon mbyllet, gazetarėt qė i pėrcjellin tė vėrtetat qė nodhin nė Irak vriten. Qytetet granatohen me aeroplana, shtėpiat rrėnohen mbi kokat e pronarėve tė tyre, demonstruesit nė mėnyrė paqėsore vriten me plumba, edhe pėrkundėr tėrė kėsaj amerikanėt insistojnė se ata kanė ardhur pėr tė sjellur ēlirimin e Irakut, pėr ta bėrė ate oazė tė lirisė dhe shembull tė cilin do ta pasojnė arabėt.

Sidoqoftė, le tė thojnė okupatorėt ēka tė dėshirojnė, kjo ėshtė punė e tyre, pasi qė ata e kėrkojnė interesin e tyre, mirėpo ajo qė na intereson neve sė pari ėshtė ajo qė e thonė irakianėt dhe sė dyti arabėt.

Ajo qė na gėzon ėshtė bashkimi i irakianėve dhe qėndrimi i tyre unanimisht kundėr okupimit.

Ajo qė na gėzon edhe mė shumė krenaria tė cilėn e kemi dėgjuar nė kushtet e banorėve tė Feluxhės pėr ta ndalur luftėn dhe insistimi i Sadrit pėr tė dalur okupatorėt nga Iraku, si kusht pėr tu ndalur rezistenca.

Kisha dashur qė tė gjithė dijetarėt e Irakut, sunnit dhe shiit tė dalin kundėr okupimit dhe tė gjithė t’i thėrrasin tė gjithė nė rezistencė, ndoshta e bėjnė kėtė, sepse okupatori nuk ua don tė mirėn atyreve.

Dijetarėt musliman akoma flasin me pėshpėritje, kurse qeveritarėt sikurse e kanė zakon heshtin, vetėm irakianėt janė duke e luajtur rolin e tyre sipas mundėsisė qė kanė pėr ta mbrojtur vehten e tyre.

Pėshpėritja dhe heshtja nuk bėjnė dobi nė planin afatgjatė, e nėse humb Iraku kanė humbur edhe tjerėt, ndoshta e kuptojnė kėtė realitet para se tė skadon afati.

Po sikur tė mos ishin fotot!
    27.05.2004 Nga: Hesham A. Hasssaball

“Le ta dini” i thotė Sekretari i Mbrojtjes Donald H. Rumsfeld, me 7 Maj, Komitetit tė Shėrbimit Ushtarak nė Senat. “Mė e keqja akoma ska ndodhur”. Me fjalė mė tė hapura e tha anėtari i Komitetit, Senatori Lindsey Graham (R-SC): “Populli Amerikan duhet tė kuptoj qė ne kėtu po flasim pėr pėrdhunim dhe vrasje, e jo qė po flasim vetėm pėr tju treguar atyre njė eksperiencė poshtėruese.” Kėto paralajmėrime paraqesin abuzime mė kėqija sesa janė paraqitur nė fotot banale tė bėra nga “60 minuta II”. Madje ndodhej edhe njė seksion i veēantė pėr gratė. Ka edhe video.

Sikur qė skandali po pėrhapet – dhe imazhi dhe besimi i Amerikės po zbehet – unė smund tė bėj gjė tjetėr vetėm tė pyes vetveten, “Po sikur tė mos ishin fotot?” “Po sikur “60 minuta II” dhe “The New Yorker” nuk do tė kishte shfaqur fotot dhe detajet e abuzimit nė burgun Abu Ghraib? A do tė bėhej kjo bujė kaq e madhe dhe e zhurmshme pėr kėtė gjė kėtu nė Amėrikė? Jo, nuk do tė bėhej, sepse ka tė ngjara qė ne amerikanėt nuk do tė dinim asgjė pėr tė.

Akuzimet pėr abuzimit e tė burgosurve tė Irakut nga ushtarėt amerikan kanė qenė tė paraqitura kohė para se ky skandal tė dalė nė dritė. Nė njė raport konfident nga Komiteti Ndėrkombėtarė i Kryqit tė Kuq (ICRC), i publikuar nė Gazetėn Wall Street, diēka nga abuzimi ėshtė pėrshkruar si “e njėjtė me torturė”, dhe ky raport njoftonė qė ICRC filloi tė udhėzoj zyrtarėt amerikan nė Maj 2003, kur Iraku ishte “ēliruar” dhe kur Presidenti deklaron “Mision i Kryer”. Nė tetor tė vitit 2003, grupet pėr tė drejtat e njeriut kanė paralajmėruar zyrtarėt kryesor tė Amerikės pėr abuzime seksuale tė turpshme nė burgun Abu Ghraib. Nė fakt, Nicole Choueiry, zėdhėnėsja e Lindjes sė Mesme pėr Amnesti Internacionale nė Londėr, theksoi: “(Autoriteti i Kualicionit Provizor) ka ditur pėr (abuzimin e tė tė burgosurve) tash njė kohė tė gjatė.”

Raport i mallkuar, nga Army Maj. Gjenerali Antonio M. Taguba, tek i cili gjinden “incidente tė shumta sadiste, blatante dhe skandale” tė shkaktuara tek tė burgosurit , u kompletua nga fundi i shkurtit por abuzimet e kryera ne detaje u kryen nė mes tė tetorit dhe dhjetorit tė vitit 2003, megjithatė, sipas Seymor Hersh i “The Neė Yorker”, njė investigim i madh nė sistemin e burgut Army ishte duke u bėrė nė Korrik tė vitit 2003. Kjo, sė bashku me raportimet e grupeve tė tė drejtave tė njeriut, sygjerojnė fuqishėm qė abuzimi i tė burgosurve ka zgjatur pėr njė kohė shumė tė gjatė dhe ishte shumė mė i pėrhapur sesa vetėm ai i pėrmbajtjes sė oficerėve amerikan. Pierre Kraehenbuel, drejtori i operacioneve tė ICRC-sė, tha: “Tė dhėnat e gjetura nga ne nuk na lejojnė tė nxjerrim si pėrfundim se me ēfarė kemi tė bėjmė… ishin veprime tė izoluara tė anėtarėve individual tė forcave tė koalicionit. Ēfarė ne pėrshkruajmė ėshtė njė motiv dhe njė sistem i gjerė.

Pėr mė shumė, Senatori Karl Levin, anėtar i rrespektuar i Komitetit tė Shėrbimeve me Armė, kur dėgjoi pėr skandalin u shpreh: “Dhe pėrfundimisht, Sekretar Ramsfeld dhe Gjeneral Myers, Unė sė bashku me kryetarin shprehim ankth tė thellė kur kujtojmė qė javėn e kaluar kur ju mblodhėt senatorėt pėr njė seksion tė klasifikuar mbi ngjarjet nė Irak, vetėm disa orė para se ēėshtja tė publikohej nė televizor, ju nuk dhatė ndonjė referencė pėr zbulimet e pashmangshme.”

Falenderojmė Zotin, pjesa dėrrmuese e tyre i jep vendit tonė njė emėr tė shkėlqyer. Por nėse kryejmė krime, sidomos nga kėto tė neveritshmet sikurse nė Abu Ghraib, ata njollosin tė gjithė Amerikėn, dhe ēdo Amerikan. Ndoshta duket e padrejtė, por sidoqoftė e vėrtetė. Sa herė populli Amerikan ka qenė nė errėsirė pėr veprimet e dyshimta tė shtetit dhe tė ushtrisė sė tij nėpėr botė. Ne kemi nevojė tė dimė mė shumė pėr veprimet e shtetit tonė nė emrin tonė. Kjo ėshtė njė pjesė e domosdoshme pėr funksionim tė duhur tė demokracisė. Tė kapur me pantollona tė ulura! Tė jemi tė “verbėr” pėr fotot e shėmtuara qė tregojnė abuzime seksuale tė tė burgosurve dhe pastaj tė kacafytemi pėr tė ruajtur fytyrėn tonė ėshtė njė dėm i pa kthyeshėm dhe i pa ndreqshėm.

Publiku Amerikan duhet tė kishte qenė i njoftuar qė nė fillim pėr abuzimin e tė burgosurve. E urrej tė them, por ti ke absulutisht tė drejtė zotėri. Sekretar. Ti ke absulutisht tė drejtė.
