Një takim i tensionuar ka qenë ai i zhvilluar sot në Athinë mes ministrit grek të Ekonomisë, Yanis Varufakis dhe kreut të Eurogrup, Jeroen Dissebloem. Jo vetëm mediat greke, por edhe ato ndërkombëtare i kanë bërë jehonë këtij takimi, duke e ilustruar me foto që flasin sa mijëra fjalë.

Ministri grek ia ka prerë shkurt zyrtarit të lartë hollandez, duke i thënë: “Trojka është një komitet joserioz anti-europian. Nuk do të bashkëpunojmë më me të”. Pas kësaj deklarate, kreu i Eurogrupit është ngritur dhe mes një sikleti mezi i dha dorën ministrit grek. Ky i fundit, shfaqi një sjellje të çuditshme. Teksa i zgjati njërën dorën zyrtarit hollandez, tjetrën e mbante në xhep. Kur po dilnin nga salla, futi dhe dorën tjetër në xhep, ndërsa këmisha e tij pa kravatë ishte lënë e lirë sipër pantallonave, çka s’i shkon përshtat staturës së një ministri. Kjo ka bere jehone negative ne mediat boterore.

Alexis Tsipras and Greece’s Miserable Foreign Policy

EU leaders should prepare for the worst when it comes to Greek foreign policy.

...As for the new Greek government’s attitude toward NATO and the United States, it will be interesting to see if and when Tsipras or his defense minister pays a visit to the alliance’s headquarters in Brussels. Syriza’s foreign policy spokesman, Costas Isychos, has already said that NATO has “no reason to exist.”
