Though specially formulated to have the maximum benefit in WinXP, it will also work in Win2000. Win2000 does not have Restore Points and so XP Recovery CD does not find Restore Points to recover in Win2000, but WinRescue 2000 backups can still be restored. Another problem with Win2000 is that the BartPE CD cannot be created in Win2000. It can be made in WinXP and then used in Win2000.
